Benshimon Live ft. Baruch Sholom

Benshimon Live is a weekly interactive kumzitz, hosted by musician Fitche Benshimon, featuring a different musical personality each Motzei Shabbos. Viewers are invited to join by requesting songs they'd like to hear.

This week's guest singer is Boruch Sholom Blesofsky.

In addition to being a sought after singer, Boruch Sholom is also a composer and has been composing melodies since his early teens.  His tunes are sung by singers including  Benny Friedman, Yeedle Werdyger, and MBD's upcoming new CD.  In 2015, his album debut, Bishvili, was produced in collaboration with Yeedle, and his second album is expected to be released in early 2017.

One year ago Jewish music fans were introduced to the talent that is Boruch Sholom, with the release of his debut album Bishvili, which was produced by the prince of Jewish music, Yeedle. Since then, simchos everywhere have been rocked by songs like Lo Yemalet and Shuva, and have been serenaded by slow soul stirring songs like Tefilah L’moshe and Hisnari.

Recently, a dear friend of Boruch Sholom was pouring out his heart to him, saying how hard it is to make a living today with all the expenses one has for themselves and their children. The words Poseach Es Yodecho popped into Boruch Sholom’s head, and that was the beginning of this amazing new song. This song should be a chizuk to all who need it and may we all be zoche to get what we need in life, Umasbiah Lechol Chai Ratzon.

Poseach Es Yodecho was written and performed by Boruch Sholom with arrangements and production by Mendy Hershkowitz and Chesky Breuer – SonicDuo.

One night in Brooklyn... A closed performance featuring the collaboration of the Blue Melody group and Boruch Sholom. Coming off the release of his debut album and having been a long time composer to the stars of Jewish music, Boruch Sholom's unique style and groove proved to be a perfect fit for Blue Melody. With Mendy Heshkowitz's arrangements, band and artist gave the select audience a true feel for artistry and presentation with songs from "Bishvili," Boruch Sholom's debut album.

Starting with "A Gutta Voch," with it's power and rhythmic movements to the Hartzig melody of "Tefilah L'emoishe" and concluding with the lyrical groove of "Time In My Life," Boruch Sholom and Blue Melody let you relive this incredible evening wherever you are.

"Hisnari" Live with Boruch Sholom

"Hisnari" a track from Boruch Sholom's debut album "Bishvili" was written in memory of the Fogel family who were brutally murdered by terrorists four years ago on a Friday night in their home.

"This song was also written at a period in my life when I myself had just gone through a personal loss of my own and the it helped uplift me" says Boruch Sholom.

In light of recent tragedies and the ongoing situation in Erez yisroel Boruch Sholom felt compelled to re-dedicate “Hisnari” in a live session with the famed producer and musician Ruli Ezrachi.

Let all terror be a thing of the past with the coming of Moshiach!
