Fire.
--The alarm of fire on Sunday morning, at a few minutes past 4 o'clock, was caused by the burning of Wrenn's carpenter shop, on Union street, between Franklin and Grace. From this building, which was entirely consumed, the flames communicated to two or three wooden shanties adjoining, occupied by negroes, which were also destroyed. The loss by this fire falls heavier upon Mr. Wrenn--in consequence of the sacrifice of tools, unfinished work, etc. --than was involved in the destruction of the buildings; as the contents of the first tenement embraced the nucleus of support for a poor man with a large family. The fire was the work of an incendiary.
