--Laura, slave of Michael Gentry, was arraigned yesterday, charged with being impudent to Mr. Ganst, her hirer, and wandering about the streets without permission. The testimony of Mr. G. showing that she was a girl of had character and hard to manage, Recorder Caskie directed that she should receive 39 lashes.
