Fatal accident.
--A correspondent from Calhoun, Ga., informs the editor of the Rome Advocate that at a religious service held in a barn a melancholy accident occurred on the 12th inst. A flash of lightning struck the barn, burst off a portion of the roof, and descending struck a Mrs. Allen and killed her instantly, melting the steel bars of her hoop. It then passed near her sister, sitting close by, affected her seriously, and killed a dog lying under her chair.
