Sent on for examination.

--The trial of H. H. Meredith, on the charge of bigamy, before the Mayor of Lynchburg, was concluded on Thursday last, after arguments on the legal points involved by Messrs. Goggin and Trible for the defence, and Major James Garland for the Commonwealth. The offence is alleged to have been committed in Bedford, and the prisoner was sent on for examination before the County Court of that county, his counsel waiving an examination before a single Justice. He was bailed for his appearance before the Court on to-day.
