The Yankee troops recruited in New Orleans.

--A letter from Jackson Miss, in the Mobile Register, says:

‘ The companies which are recruited by the Yankee in New Orleans seem to be fitted out for the mere purpose of getting arms and equipments, deserting "horse, foot, and dragoon" to the bounte blue flag. This is the easiest way for those of our friends who desire to run the lines; for, the bounty in they have a horse, arms, overcoats, &c., which they can dispose of at an extremely handsome advance over what it cost them--i. e. nothing. The other day a party of 17 made for our lines somewhere on the Jackson road, but our sentries seeing such a number coming up with horses and guns began to pepper spray at them in deadly earnest was a dilemma; there wasn't a which handkerchief or a napkin in the crowd. At last one of them in a fit of dusted his shirt (which was couleur Isabean) and, transfixing it with his bayonet the pickets soon understood the friendly flattering of Moody's favorite garment, and allowed them to in.
