Fifty Dollars reward will be paid for my bright mulatto girl Ellen. She has a sharp face and chin, blue eyes, long, straight hair, and large feet; she is 5 feet 2 inches high. She had on when she left a faded yellow calico dress, a Virginia cloth apron, with a body and long sleeves. She will try to pass for free, or devise some means to deceive any one who tries to arrest her. She has been seen several times in the neighborhood of 17th street, and Union Hill and Church Hill. She was persuaded off by her step uncle, on Church Hill. I will give the above reward for her arrest; and if harbored by any one, and it can be proved, I will give $25 more on conviction.
