Hospitals for wounded officers.
Orders have been issued by Surgeon Thomas H. Williams, the Medical Director at this time controlling the hospitals of this military department, directing the vacation of Hospital No. 10, in this city, and its appropriation to the accommodation of sick and wounded officers exclusively. Another order has been issued by the same authority directing 100 beds to be reserved in Hospital No. 4 for the same purpose, and that the remaining beds in the said hospital be reserved for wounded soldiers. It has been decided that officers who take hospital accommodations must pay $1 per day for their board, this sum including the charge for medical and surgical treatment.
