From Wilmington, N. C.

There were 58 new cases and four deaths in Wilmington on Tuesday, and 57 new cases and four deaths on Wednesday. Among the deaths were Col. Jas. T. Miller, Collector of the Port, and for twenty years chairman of the County Court, and Mr. Jno. Lewis, the third druggist who has fallen since the fever appeared. The Journal, of Thursday, says:

‘ The disease seems to be yielding so far as its mortality is concerned, but the number of sick and helpless people in our town exceeds all calculation. Wilmington is one vast fever hospital.
