--The Government has sold $440 worth of stray horses, taken up by the Detectives of the Eastern District, within the last month, and realized $600 in fines on contraband liquor sellers brought to justice by the same officers within that time. In addition to this, some twenty-odd liquor sellers now await trial before the Court-Martial for violating the proclamation forbidding its sale.
