Sword for Lieut. Potter.

--We learn that a few of the immediate friends of Lieutenant Potter, of the Columbus Guards, now in service in Virginia, have procured of Mr. A. H. DeWitt a sword of superior manufacture and finish, which they contemplates forwarding to him in a few days Lieut. Potter is an old and very acceptable member of the Guards, and the compliment of a fine sword upon his advancement is very proper. We have no fears but the sword will be worn with honor, and the present remembered with satisfaction by the gentleman interested.--Columbus (6a) Sun.
