More Vandalism.
A telegram was yesterday received by Geo. W. Sherrand, Esq., the delegate from Morgan county, notifying him of the burning of his house, barn, and other property in Morgan The telegram stated that his wife and children were out of doors, and that his presence at home was immediately desired. The case of Mr. S. is a hard one, but is only one of a hundred it that section of the State, giving evidence of the unhallowed means resorted to by a ruthless enemy to effect our subjugation. These acts are having their affect, however, and will raise up thousands of stout arms and brave hearts, determined that the spoilers shall be driven from our land, and that the peaceful homes of our border citizens shall be restored to them.
