--The familiar faces of John and Bridget Moore were again visible at the Mayor's Court yesterday, the occasion this time being a countercharge brought by the former against his wife. ‘"What complaint have you to make now?"’ asked the Mayor. ‘"Nothing, yer honor,"’ replied John, ‘"axcipt we got into a little arregumint, and I said something that offinded her, and she made an attempt at sthriking me."’ ‘"Well,"’ said the Mayor, ‘"you mus'nt strike her back when she makes the attempt again, though you have a right to tie her, or lock her up until her temper cools. Now go along, and don't let me see either of you here any more."’ The law having thus been expounded, the Moores departed in the most affectionate mood imaginable.
