--The application of the committee in this behalf, now going on, have been thus far met with an alacrity and liberality which, in such times, shows the deep and almost indescribable interest of our people in the matter of taking care of those who have been injured in defence of our beloved Confederacy. Let the committee be abundantly supplied with means — all will be needed before the work is done.
