Storm.
--The heat yesterday, till 6 o'clock in the evening, was much greater than could be desired or was at all comfortable. A little after the hour above-named it ‘"come on to blow."’ Great clouds of dust were seen rising at either end of the city, which was rightly interpreted by pedestrians into a warning to make themselves scarce, which most of them did. Afterwards followed a very vigorous rain — most welcome as the harbinger of a change in the weather.
