Gun-boats.
--Those strong and fine seaboats, the schooners Wythe and Gallego, belonging to the Messrs. Currie, now in the Dock, could, according to our idea, make splendid gun-boats. If properly strengthened, they would carry at least four large-size guns, capable of doing immense damage to the enemy. Our naval authorities should give them an inspection. They could be converted into propellers at little cost.
