--A negro lad, slave of Sanford Taylor, has been committed to jail at Fairfax Court- House, Va., charged with attempting to kill the family of James Robey, by mixing pounded glass with their food, of which Mr. Robey, being an old gentleman, without teeth, eat largely before discovering the glass. His condition is dangerous.
