"Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."

President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away yesterday. The Salt Lake Tribune published a great article about him... you can read it here.

This was a very nice tribute from CNN's Glenn Beck, which I found on Happy Life... please watch:

More Caffeine, Please posted some of my favorite quotes from President Hinckley:

"In all of living, have much of fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."

"Let your children be exposed to great minds, great ideas, everlasting truth, and those things which will build and motivate for good."

"The way will be lighter, the worries will be fewer, the confrontations will be less difficult if we cultivate a spirit of happiness."

"We must work at our responsibility as parents as if everything in life counted on it, because in fact everything in life does count on it."

"True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well being of one's companion."

He will be missed!

Online diversions

I could spend hours online... and, in fact, I do! But sometimes, I find worthy diversions, like reading the news, researching a question I have, or testing my geography skills. Check out The Traveler IQ Challenge. It tests your knowledge of the location of world cities and famous places. Very quick & addictive!!

But, even more entertaining would have to be Flight of the Hamsters. No real redeeming value in this game, other than feeling like a star each time the hamster splats on the ground. (I love the cheering section!)

Tastes like tapioca pudding...

...and they say getting crapped on is good luck!

Where can I recycle my used asbestos?

No joke... there are places you should drop off asbestos, instead of anywhere you please like on The Sopranos. Visit earth911.org to find out where you can recycle paper, plastic, etc. in your local area.

I could watch this for hours...

It really doesn't matter what they're saying... it's just funny TV! I'm not sure why they're wearing the silver bodysuits...
