It is late in the day on Thanksgiving here in the USA. I have a fun bookmark that uses the yummy bakers twine from The Twinery mixed with super fun Art Play Paintables from AdornIt! I used some of the AdornIt watercoloring pencils on this and created a bookmark to remind me to be thankful every time I pick up my book to read.
I used the Solid Marigold bakers twine at the top of this bookmark and added a button for an accent. Here is a closer look......
And her it is peeking out of the top of one of my favorite books.....do you know which book it is? Have you read it?
So, do you like to read? What good books have you read lately? I just love making bookmarks and plan on making several to pass out to friends and family this Christmas season. This is also posted over on The Twinery blog. Hop on over and leave a little bit of love there for me, pretty please......
Have a great day!!
Hugs

Thanks So Much Pillowbox with The Twinery and SRM Stickers
Hello!! Today I get to share a wonderful project over on The Twinery blog that features two of my favorite companies.....SRM Stickers and The Twinery!
For the base of my project, I used the Medium Kraft Pillow Box from SRM Stickers. I added a little bit of ink around the edges of it and then added the pretty White Lace Doily over the top of it. The sentiment is from the We've Got Your Sticker/Thanks. The bakers twine that I used today is Strawberry and Honeydew. I wrapped it around the pillow box and then tied it in a bow on the left side.
I cut the flower image on my Cricut Imagine. I inked up the edges of the cuts a bit and then glued them onto the pillow box.
I think that this pillow box is a great way to give a treat to show some gratitude towards someone. What would you fill it with?
Here is a look at the colors of bakers twine from The Twinery I used today....
I would really appreciate it if you would hop on over to the Twinery Blog and leave some feedback love for me over there, too.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Amy

St. Patrick's Day Treat Containers with SRM Stickers
Hello friends!! Today I get to share this fun St. Patrick's Day treat container over on the SRM Stickers blog.
Yes, I know, I know...this project has a bit of a birthday theme to it. That is because my oldest was born on St. Patrick's Day and she loves to have it incorporated into her birthday.
I used the super cute Clover Treat Box from SRM Stickers and decorated it up with some stickers from the Bright Blank Labels by the Dozen, We've Got Your Sticker - Happy, and Christmas Sticker Stitches.
I finished it off with some yummy Peapod Bakers Twine from The Twinery and filled it with some Chocolate Mint M&M's. Perfect for the holiday!!
Do you know of anyone who has a birthday on a holiday?? Do they like to celebrate the holiday with their birthday??
I would really appreciate if you would hop on over to the SRM Stickers blog and leave a little love on the post over there for me. Also leave a comment here to let me know you have visited. It is starting to feel a little bit lonely and like I am talking to myself here. LOL
I hope that you have a great weekend....and my you have the LUCK of the IRISH!!
Hugs,
Amy

Will You Be My Valentine Take-Out Box
Hello!! I get to share a fun treat box over on The Twinery blog that would be great for you give to your special someone this Valentine's Day.
I used THIS cute transparent take-out box and filled it with some chocolate hearts (cuz chocolate is hubby's favorite). I then decorated the front with a lacy doily and added a sentiment from SRM Stickers. I used just a bit of adhesive on the back of the doily to hold it on the box where I wanted it and then tied it to the box with some Maraschino bakers twine. I added a double bow of Maraschino bakers twine to the top of the box....just to finish it off a bit. Take a closer look.....
Here is that lovely Maraschino bakers twine that I used on my project today......
You can check out this fun project over on The Twinery blog....I hope that you will leave a comment for me over there as well as here so that I know that you have seen/like my posts.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

ATC Calendar Tray with SRM Stickers
Hello friends!! Do any of you ever buy something and then look at it and wonder what you are going to do with it? Of course you don't.....well, I do and that is what happened when I bought this ATC Tray and didn't quite know how I wanted to use it. I knew that I wanted something amazing to go into it, but I just didn't know what.
I had an assignment to make a calendar project for SRM Stickers and found that the 2016 Decorative Mini Calendar Stickers and cut with the new matching Wafer Thin Die fit in there perfectly. Take a look.....
To be able to re-use this calendar again next year (with the 2017 stickers, of course), I used some mini clothes pins and covered them with different black and white washi tapes. I then just used some hot glue to glue these onto the background paper.
I used the Times and Seasons papers from Echo Park for the background papers inside the tray.
At the top of the ATC Tray, I used a sticker from the 2016 Year of Memories Stickers on some vanilla colored cardstock, added some brads to the ends and glued it with a glue dot to the top of the frame. To use it again next year, I will just have to peel this off and put on a new one...shouldn't be too hard.
To finish off my project, I added some black and white ribbons to the top handle.
So, what do you think of my new re-purposed ATC Tray? I think that it would be a great gift idea.
This was posted over on the SRM Stickers blog today and I would love it if you would leave a comment on the blog post over there, too.
Hugs,
Amy

Stash Your Stash Blog Hop with The Twinery
Hello and welcome to my stop on The Twinery's Stash your Stash blog hop. If you have come from Jeanne Jachna's blog, you are in the right spot. If you have just happened upon this post and would like to join us, you can hop on back to The Twinery blog to get started at the beginning.
Today we are sharing how we store our twine. I actually have two places that I store my twine rolls. The first is on a pegboard system:
I started by storing my twine this way when I had quite a few of them. I love how pretty they look all lined up in a row. For those who follow my blog, you may know that I just recently moved and have been setting up my scrapping space. This is one of the first things that went up because it has lots of ways to store different products. I need to get some more pegs and put up some more twine that I still have in a box from our move. Here is a closer look at the twine rolls.....
I also was on the design team for Ribbon Carousel for a while and as compensation for my time, I received a ribbon carousel from them. I don't know if she is still making them, but here is what mine looks like with all that pretty solid bakers twine on it.
It looks like they might still be sold on Amazon (Ribbon Carousel) so you might be able to get one there.
Nicole with The Twinery is generously giving away a Striped Twine sampler ($18 value) on each of the blog hop stops....that means that if you leave a comment on each blog, that is an entry into each drawing and more chances to win!!
Comments will close at midnight (EST) on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Winners will be posted on The Twinery blog on Thursday, November 5th.
It is now time to hop on over to DoBea Alberts' blog to see how she stores her bakers twine. Don't forget to leave a comment to get a chance to win the prize listed above!!
Hugs,
Amy

Give Thanks Linen Bag and Tag with SRM Stickers
Hello friends!! I have a super cute project to share with you today that is posted over on the SRM Stickers blog today. I decorated this wonderful 3x5 Rustic Linen Bag from SRM Stickers....perfect for fall and Thanksgiving.
I stamped the bag with a "Thanks" the Big Thank You clear stamp set. To get it to stamp on the linen bag, I made sure that the stamp was well saturated with ink and then firmly stamped down and held it for a minute or so to let the ink soak into the fabric. I also added a bit of stitching from the same stamp set along the bottom of the bag.
The tag was created from THIS file in the Silhouette store. I also cut the pumpkins from THIS file. I added some stamped stitches along the edges of the tag with the Stamped Stitches clear stamp set. I finished off the tag with some yummy Peapod bakers twine from The Twinery and a sentiment from the Fall Sticker Sentiments.
I would love it if you would leave me a comment below and also on the SRM Stickers blog. Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow to hop with me and the other designers with The Twinery as we show you how we store our yummy bakers twine...there will be some awesome prizes up for gabs.
Hugs,
Amy

Happy Fall!! I'm Back!! YAY!!
Well hello there.....it has been a while! We had to move last month and I am sorry that my blog was a bit neglected over the last several weeks as we got moved, unpacked, and started out the new school year. I am happy to say that my crafting room is about all set up and I can't wait to share it with you in the coming weeks.
I have a couple of projects that I want to share starting with this fabulous little pumpkin treat box that I created with my Silhouette Cameo and some yummy Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery.....
I used THIS fun cut to make the treat box. I just love how fun it was to put together and how pretty it turned out. I filled it with some yummy chocolate to give to a friend and then tied it all up with some yummy Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery. Here is a closer look at how I used the twine like vines on the stem and then also to tie up the back (I did modify the cutting file a bit so that I could use the twine to tie off the closure on the back).
I hope that you have enjoyed my project for today after my long hiatus...I would love it if you hopped over to The Twinery blog and left a little comment love on my post HERE. Thanks so much!!
I hope to be back into the swing of creating again in the coming weeks. Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Amy

July Guest Designer with Paper Sweeties
Hello friends!! Today I am sharing a post with you that features Paper Sweeties stamps and dies. I was thrilled when Debbie asked me to guest design this month. There are some wonderful stamp and die sets on their website and so narrowing it down to the one I wanted to work with was pretty hard. I picked the Pretty Posies stamp and Sweet Cuts die sets and created this little gift set......
The card is 4 x 4 inches and I added a simple white frame to it. The sentiment on the inside is from SRM Stickers. The flowers and leaves from the Pretty Posies stamp set are stamped on cardstock with similar ink colors and then die cut with the matching Sweet Cuts die set. I added a bit of Orchid bakers twine from The Twinery and a rhinestone to the middle of each flower. Here is a closer look....
I used THIS bag from SRM Stickers and stamped the flower and leaf images onto it with a clear ink (Versamark). I then folded over the top and tied it up with some more Orchid bakers twine. The bag has some of my favorite treats in it.....some yummy Hershey's Bliss Dark Chocolate. :)
The flowers for the tag are done the same way as for the card. I used THIS tag from My Creative Time and added a sentiment from SRM Stickers. Here is a closer look at the tag......
I hope that you have enjoyed my projects today and I would love it if you jumped over to the Paper Sweeties Blog and thanked them for giving me a chance to share these with you today.
I have a blog hop coming up later today featuring the Caribbean bakers twine from The Twinery.....so, come on back and check out the fab tags that I made for it.
Hugs,
Amy

Fun Ghostly Straws with PKS
Hey friends!! Today I have a fun project I am sharing over on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog for Face day. With Halloween at the end of the week, I thought it would be fun to do a project for my kiddos.
I just love the new Squee Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps. I think it pairs perfectly with the new Ghostie Peachy Pieces file. Take a look......
I mounted these fun little ghosts onto green stripped straws for my kiddos to use on Halloween morning to sip their chocolate milk. :) Here are a couple more photos of these fun straws.
And one a little bit closer......
I hope that you have a great week!!

Amy

It's Turkey Day with Peachy Keen Stamps
Greetings friends!! Today I have a fun project to share with you that I created as inspiration for the new Peachy Keen Stamps challenge that is up today. Take a peek:
I created this fun candle for Thanksgiving using the Lil' Tweets - Thanksgiving set (which also happens to be one of the October Specials over at Peachy Keen Stamps).
I colored in my cute little birdie with my Copic markers and then added him to this tag and then glued it to the candle jar and wrapped some raffia around it to finish it off. Here is a pic of the new challenge:
I hope you can hop on over HERE and join us for this great challenge!! We are also having a facebook hop with the new Peachy Keen Stamps Mid October release. You can join us and see what I created on my facebook page HERE.
Have a great day!!
Hugs,
Amy

Taylored Expressions and Faber-Castell Blog Hop
Hello everyone and welcome to my stop on the blog hop with Taylored Expressions and Faber-Castell. I am so excited to be joining in on this hop and can't wait to show you my project.......
This project is a 12x12 shadowbox with little 3x3 canvases that I individually decorated and then put them inside the frame on double layers of foam adhesive.
I have to admit that I had some Faber-Castell products before this hop, but I just didn't have the courage to try them out....What if I messed up? What if I don't like it? Well, I can tell you that my project is FAR from perfect, but I really LOVE working with these products. I think that my new favorite medium is Gelatos! The backgrounds as well as the images are all colored with them.
I used the Welcome Home stamp set and the Build A House dies from Taylored Expressions. From Faber-Castell, I used the Gel Medium, Gesso, Gelatos, and Pitt Stampers Big Brush Artist Pens to stamp the images and color on the white cardstock that I die cut for the window panes and doors. Take a closer look at each image (but don't look too close, there are several mistakes). ;)
I have always wanted to get into mixed media and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to participate in this hop.....it was just the right PUSH that I needed.
Giveaway Details:
Simply comment on any (or all!) of our Blog Hop posts from April 24-April 25. For each comment, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of two fabulous prizes: One lucky winner will receive a $75 Faber-Castell prize pack of Gesso, Glaze, Gel Medium, and 10 new Gelatos Double Scoops and one lucky winner will receive a Taylored Expressions stamp set and die of choice! Comments close Sunday, April 27 at 8pm PST.

Baby Gift Tag, Card, and Box with Key Ingredients from Taylored Expressions
Hello friends!! I was featured on the Taylored Expressions blog last week with these fun projects that I created with the April Key Ingredients kit.
I created this for a neighbor that recently had a baby. For the stamps and dies on the card and tag, I used the April Stamp of the Month called Made with Love and the coordinating die set called Stitched with Love. I made the box with simple cutting and scoring along with the Bloom Where You're Planted dies. Take a closer look at these projects......
You can find the tutorial for how I made the box above over on the Taylored Expressions blog HERE.
Do you want a peek at the baby afghan that I croched and wrapped in the brown paper package?? Take a look......
Don't forget to get your Key Ingredients and Stamp of the month kits from Taylored Expressions by the end of the month, because they won't be available after the 30th. You can also get them both combined into the Deluxe Kit for a discounted price.
I hope you have a great Easter weekend!!
Hugs,
Amy
