I should have walked away when I was $235 up, but instead I poured my winnings back into the machine and left with only $90 more than I went in with. I guess it's better than nothing, but I'm still kicking myself a teensy bit.
Ed insisted we stop in Vegas on our way though and gamble for an hour or so, which is about all I can stand. It doesn't take long for me to start hating the heat, and the smoke, and the noise, and the losing money part.
Really, one visit to this town is enough for a lifetime and if I never stepped foot in Las Vegas (or the state of Nevada) for the rest of my life, I'd be thrilled. Unfortunately, I'm sure we'll be back.
We still have a free three-night stay at the Wynn to use.
