Last week The University of Law welcomed over 1.2k students to a virtual work experience event, and over 600 students to their UK campuses in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Nottingham. Budding law students got the chance to attend engaging workshops that allowed students to put their negotiation and argument skills to the test and prepare a case, with real life legal disputes used for simulation tasks! The work experience brought many aspects of Law to life, and really helped students figure out what area of Law they'd like to work in. A huge thanks to Hannah Coe and the rest of the ULaw team for delivering such a great event across multiple locations, and to the student brand ambassadors who were there to provide advice, guidance and assistance throughout the event. Throwback to our Summer Conference at the QEII, London: Back on 11th July we held the UK’s biggest student careers event and invited some of the largest brands to join sector specific panel discussions with us and our audience of students. Our Accounting and Business panel consisted of clients from Forvis Mazars Group, PwC, EY, KPMG and Grant Thornton UK LLP and during the panel our students had the opportunity to join a live Q&A through our event app! "Teamwork makes the dream work" Here we all are taking a break from another busy event - the YP and Peppo Tutors 2024 PowerUp fest at Regent's University London, and what better way to chill and soak up the sun than in a pair of giant deckchairs! With the students and employers enjoying a tasty bbq and live entertainment (including a singer, pianist, caricature artist and a magician), it certainly was summer vibes over in London yesterday. Hosted by Young Professionals and Peppo Tutors, this sold-out event was a huge success, bringing together aspiring legal professionals and top experts from the industry. What an incredible night hosting the Lloyds Banking Group Careers Live Session with over 1,400 students and the LBG team! We had a fantastic evening talking all about finding a career that you love with the help from some of the amazing apprentices at LBG. From listener to Presenter 🗣️ Yesterday I had the privilege of leading a presentation delivered to 100 students at Highworth kent Grammar school.
