Sparkle Creations 3rd Anniversary Release & Hop!!!

Hello and Welcome to the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps 3rd Anniversary Hop! Not only are we here to help Sparkle celebrate 3 years of SCRS, but we are also officially releasing 4 new SCRS images this month -- Paris Lucy,  London Charlotte, New York Josh, and Seattle Chloe. They are ALL available in the store NOW!

I used Paris Lucy on my card today. I stamped, colored and fussy cut her out, then I popped her up on the cloud paper. I adapted the sketch from SCRSC106 for my layout.

SCRSC96: Love Song Challenge and a Farewell...

I want to thank Sparkle for having me along on her Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps journey. This is my final post as a SCRS design team member. I've been with Sparkle since the beginning, and I can't believe it's been 2 1/2 years! I'm also thankful to her as she was one my first online blogging friends, and since then we've met up at a few CHA trade shows. I wish her continued luck with her company, and I look forward to seeing how her characters continue to develop, too. I know that you should never show favoritism, but of the eight characters, Chloe and Emily have been my "go to gals". I will also miss my fellow SCRS DT-mates, but I will be sure to keep up with you all in blogland!

Here's my take on the challenge (using Cupid Emily):

So, this is a love song challenge. I have a lot of songs that I'm partial too (most of them country music songs and many are probably considered to be love songs). I couldn't think of one in particular for the challenge, and sadly, what came to mind when I first tried was "Love You Like A Love Song" by Selena Gomez. Sabrina sings this one ALL the time, and it's kind of a catchy tune (especially after hearing it for the hundredth time). :)
