I used this recipe for the crust only, but I didn't use the cooking method, because I wanted to try another members way of cooking it! The crust was very good! It was only enough crust for the top of the roast beef. My roast was almost 3 lbs. I added my photo! Thank you for this great recipe!

Doreen: In your potato jacket recipe, you wrote "cowslaw" I didn't know what that was. Apparently you meant cole slaw.

'Glad you like my coleslaw recipe. I halved the vinegar since my family thought it was too strong. I suggest you add this to taste... The mold turns out nicely1

Sometimes the simpler the better. A recipe doesn't need to be over complicated to have great flavor. I look forward to trying some of your recipes!

Good Morning and thank you for your lovely message. I know where you are coming from because I too have the beginning stages of arthritis. I am being tested for rheumatoid(sp) arthritis and we'll see what the results are. Please take care and I hope you are keeping well.

Thanks for being a cooking friend. I find that people need a variety of recipes to suit the different kinds of lifeatyles. If your recipes are rather simple, as you mention in your bio, you'll most likely be helping someone out.

I too am retired though and also have the beginnings of Osteoporisis with some arthritis though I still try to do as much as I can in the kitchen. Usually try all my receipes out on our church group as they always love what I make. Want to check out your recipe as well and would love to become your cooking buddy too! Phyllis
