Major Mushroom Year
This year we began growing our own edible mushrooms. Just like any fruit or vegetable, homegrown is always better than store bough. I think we chose the optimal year to begin cultivating mushrooms because I have also noticed more wild mushrooms than any other year.
Before I continue, I want to make it clear that I am NOT giving instruction or advice on how to find mushrooms and I am NOT giving any medical advice or any advice whatsoever.
All photos were taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower) and the mushrooms were all grown in my garden/yard.
