6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - MORE PAGES - WINTER WONDERLAND MINI ALBUM | with Jen

Hi Everyone!  Happy Valentine's Day!  I'm back today with some new pages I created for my 6x8 Winter Wonderland Mini Album.  If you missed my first posts, you can find my cover post here, and my previous pages here and here The last fun elements included in the Doodlebug 6x8 albums are heavy cardstock inserts that match the album color and pocket inserts. The pocket inserts come in a traditional pocket style and a side loading pocket style.

The heavy cardstock inserts are perfect for small layouts. I've added photo mats and Snow Much Fun Chit Chat or This and That Stickers. Because they coordinate with the albums they also coordinate with any Doodlebug paper collection.

I used two of the cardstock inserts to mat the front and back inside cover or my album. By simply trimming off the binder holes on the side they fit perfectly as mats that can then be decorated. I used Chit Chat and Odds and Ends on mine.

For the pocket inserts the journaling cut-aparts fit perfectly on the side loading pockets. I've turned one of them upside down so my pocket is on the opposite side. The back sides of all the pockets are all perfect for a small layout.

For the traditional pocket inserts I've matted these with petite prints and the 12x12 collection. The pockets are big and will hold lots of photo mats.

I have a process video and walkthrough of the completed album here.

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - HELLO 2025 PART 3 | with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  I'm back with the first monthly pages of my 6x8 Hello 2025 Mini Album!  If you missed my previous posts, you can find my cover post here, and my quarterly dividers here. As I previously mentioned, one of my goals this year is to get back to documenting both the everyday and special moments.  I created a couple of page spreads for my January moments... take a peek...

I designed my album cover and dividers to coordinate with any Doodlebug Design collection, to give myself lots of flexibility. I love that it's so easy to mix & match collections!   I decided for my January pages that I would use the primarily the Snow Much Fun collection.  After all, I live in New England and it is cold!

I thought it would be fun to add a calendar element to my book.  I downloaded a 5x7 printable calendar from Etsy (link listed below) .  I used the All Occasions Everyday, All Occasions Holidays and Special Delivery Doodle Stamps to document activities though the month.  I backed my calendar with papers from the Snow Much Fun Collection and embellished with some Mini Icons and Shaped Sprinkles.

My first photos are from New Years of course! These photos made me laugh... quite the difference between what the 20-somethings and the 50-somethings do on NYE!!   I started by layering some papers from the Snow Much Fun Collection.  I added some Acetate fireworks from the Hometown USA collection and some Snow Much Fun Puffy Stickers in their centers.  My title was done using some Silver Alphabet Soup Stickers.

My next pages were created to highlight some of my favorite photos from the month.

For my first page I started with papers and a border sticker from the  This & That Stickers from Snow Much Fun.  The January sticker is from the Day to Day collection, and "moments" was done using Teensy Type Stickers.  I printed some favorite pics from the month, and added them with some frames created with a die from my stash.  I embellished each photo with some stickers and sprinkles from various collections including French Kiss and Party Time.  Again, I love how easy it is to mix and match collections!

My last page holds some of my favorite photos from the month!  I got to babysit my bestie's grandson.  He is just the happiest, cutest little man!!!  I backed my phots on papers from Snow Much Fun and then added stickers from Special Delivery.

I'm really enjoying documenting all the big and small moments of 2025!  The smaller format makes it easy to keep up with, and the standard color palette of Doodlebug collections makes it so easy to mix things up!  Be sure to keep checking back all this month for more 6x8 Mini Album Inspiration!  Have a great day!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER WONDERLAND PART 2 | with Jen

Hi everyone!  It's Jen, and I'm back with some of the inside pages of my Snow Much Fun Mini Album. If you missed my cover post you can find it here.   The new Doodlebug 6x8 albums come with 10 pocket protector pages. There are four configurations: four 3x4 pockets, two 4x6 pockets, two 3x4 and one 4x6, and a large 6x8.

These pockets can be really fun to decorate! For my album I used a combination of 6x6 papers and 12x12 papers. I used stickers from the This and That sticker sheet, Icon sticker, Mini Icon stickers, Odds and Ends, Chit Chat, and Bits and Pieces.

All of my embellishments are added to the outside of the page protector. This keeps the page protectors flat and allows you to pop up the embellishments if you would like.

On some of the pages I added flaps to a couple of pages by taking a piece of white cardstock cutting it to the height of the pocket and then scoring it so it folds over the front, adding the space to add photos.

For this large pocket I added a flap with some acetate for something different.

I have a process video for you here.

I'll be back in a couple of weeks with some more from the inside of my mini!  Have a great day!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME MINI ALBUM | with Tya

Hello friends! Today, I'm thrilled to share the cover of my 6x8 mini album using the Blue Jean album and the whimsical "Snow Much Fun" collection. Living here in Utah, where we truly have "the greatest snow on Earth," this project holds a special place in my heart. I'm so excited to use this album over the next two months to document the magical winter memories I've experienced. By the end, I hope to have a completed album full of inspiration for you to create your own winter-themed projects.

For the cover, I wanted to capture the cozy charm of a snow-covered home in winter. Here's how I put it all together:

To craft this adorable house design, I used a few pieces from the Home Sweet Home Chipboard album that I had lying on my shelf. I traced the cover pieces onto cardstock and pattern papers coordinating with the Snow Much Fun collection. I also turned to the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts die that coordinates with the chipboard album to add details to my house like the scallop edge on the roof, the windows, the snow bunches on top of the windows, and the door. They all came together so quickly with the use of this die! I loved using some of our Sugar Coated cardstock for that snowy sparkle and shine as well. The beautiful snowflakes on the "Snow Happy Together" pattern paper I used for the background look so good when paired with the deep blue color of the Blue Jean album.

To bring the house to life I added a few die-cuts from the collection. A cute little bird and tree are from the Odds and Ends and my project would not be complete without a Doodle Pop! This sweet little "Frosty Fox" ties in the pretty grays in the collection so well! The heart on the door for a knob is also found on the Frosty Fox Doodle Pop.

My love of all things ribbon and twine all got highlighted here as well as you can see- I have various ribbons tied to the album as well as some Blue Jean Chunky Twine that ties my tag to the album. The tag is from the Bits and Pieces ephemera. The tag is decorated with the "Snow Place Like Home" sentiment from the Chit Chat and a few pretty green gems from the Mini Jewels. Notice how the house I did for my cover is the same color scheme as the one on this sentiment? This was done purposefully to create continuity in my project. The sentiment was actually my inspiration for the whole album as I truly think my home here in Utah - there is "snow place" like it!

The cover of any project is the theme setter, and I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out! It's the perfect starting point for what's to come inside the album. I hope it has you as excited as I am to see how the inside pages take shape over the next coming months. Stay tuned as I fill this album with fun pages. I really hope it inspires you to create your own albums, capturing memories that warm your heart through the coldest days! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!

6 X 8 Mini Albums - Snow Much Fun Winter Wonderland Album Cover | with Jen

Doodlebug 6x8 Albums are here and they're amazing! The new albums have a beautiful laminated cover, canvas covered spine, and come in 14 delicious Doodlebug Colors. Each album has 5 tabbed chipboard inserts, four heavy cardstock inserts, and 10 page protectors in four configurations.

For my project I decided to use the adorable Snow Much Fun collection with a lilac album. On the front I used my mountain shaker I made as a design team project a few months ago and it fit perfectly. My tutorial for how to make shakers out of Doodlebug SVG Files can be found here.

I matted my cover with one of the plaid side of the Ice Crystals paper.  I cut it to 6 1/4" x 8 1/2" to get the perfect white border around the edges. I added a Chit Chat Piece and a border sticker from the This and That sticker sheet.

My shaker is layered and gives good dimension to the cover. I used the Flurry and Ice Crystals Doodlebug Shakers.

To finish my cover,  I added snowflakes from the Bits and Pieces and Clouds from the Odds and Ends. I added a little Yeti from the Icon stickers peeking out from behind the mountain.

I also have a process video for you that also shows you all the elements that come in the 6x8 albums.

DOODLEBUG SHAKERS - SHAKER EMBELLISHMENTS | with Jen

I'm sure by now you have all figured out how much I love to make shakers! Whether I'm using them on a card, layout, or mini album I just love the interactive element they add. Today I have three shakers I made using the Doodlebug SVG files available in Lori Whitlock's shop. I used files from three different collections. I have a full recorded tutorial on how to manipulate the files in Cricut Design Space linked below.

First up is a fairly simple shaker using the Rainbow with Clouds from the Fairy Garden Collection. For this shaker I just used the cloud pieces for the shaker and filled them with Lily White Shaker Balls. This is a very basic shaker and not hard to make.

For my second shaker I stepped it up a bit and used the Winter Mountains from the Snow Much Fun Collection. For this shaker I used the main mountains to make to separate shakers and then layered them together to complete the overall shaker. I used the Ice Crystals and Flurry Shakers to fill. This is a very dimensional piece and would be great in a mini album.

And my last shaker I used the Cola image from Hello Again. For this shaker I made mini shakers out of some of the ice cubes inside the larger cola shaker. This one was a little bit trickier with the ice cube shakers inside, and the gap at the top of the cup between the lid and the "cola". The finished product is really fun and would be great as a card or on a layout.

Full video tutorial can be found here.  Thanks for stopping by!

DOODLEBUG SHAKERS SNOW MUCH FUN SNOWGLOBE | with Tarrah

What is not to love about the new Doodlebug shakers?! I mean there are so many possibilities to use these! You have seen the Doodle Shaker Pops right? Well now you can create your very own shaker pops or cards or whatever you want! I decided to create a snow globe using the new DIY Snow Globe kit, the Snow Much Fun collection and of course the new shakers!

Firstly I created a scene on the back piece of the globe by adding a sheet of patterned paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad and then layered the Let It Snow acetate over the top. To create the scene I took pieces from the Odds and Ends ephemera pack and added the Snow Cute Doodle Pop also. I also added some small puffy stickers and some clouds too. On the white parts of the ephemera, I added some Kindyglitz for some extra sparkle. Once the backing was done, I tested how it looked and then added a lot of the Lily White shaker balls inside the globe.

For the outside, I added the Winter Wonderland paper to the top of the globe and also one of the scalloped border stickers from the This and That sticker sheet. At the base of the globe, I covered the black in the striped paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad. I took one of the phrase banner ephemera pieces from the Chit Chat pack and added this over the top. I then took one of the Frosty Fun Little Charmers and tucked it under the banner title. At the very bottom I added the tiny puffy hearts along the edge.

Around the outer front edge, I took all of the snowflake puffy stickers and arranged them to fill the space. I did think about painting this part first however I decided not to and I am glad I just added the stickers. Once it was all dry, it was time to give a test and shake it up! It worked great and I love how it turned out.

Close up of the bottom section of the globe.

This was such a fun project to make! I hope you will give the shakers a go and create some cool projects with them! Thanks for stopping by today!

SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER CARDS | with Tya

Hello there Doodlebug friends! How’s the weather where you are? Here in Utah, it’s still looking a lot like winter – but that’s ok! I love winter! And to celebrate – I thought I’d whip up a few winter–themed cards using the adorable ‘Snow Much Fun” collection!

I used the card bases from the Cards and Envelopes Kit that coordinates with the collection. These six cards were super fun to decorate up with all of the goodies from the collection! Let's see what I made for you, shall we?

This cute card is one of my favorites of the bunch. I love that little peek-a-boo spot cut out of the card base. It was the perfect spot for the friendly Yeti on the Hello Winter Doodle Pop to wave hello. The card was decorated with some pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad and the 12 x12 paper. Some pretty flocked tulle added some fun texture and interest to this page!

All of the snowmen had my heart, but this little fellow, with his little snow cone, was the perfect addition to this fun card that features some of the Odds and Ends and Chit Chat ephemera pieces.

Everyone in for a selfie! I simply adored this fun group shot with all of our polar pals that is from the Odds and Ends. I added a couple of more friends with the bunny and the seal popping in. They are stickers from the Icon Sticker sheet. The fun "Snow Happy Together" banner sentiment was the perfect saying for all of these happy friends!

This little ski buddy made his appearance next to some of the snow-capped mountains and a big "Nice to Ski You!" sentiment. I layered that sentiment - found in the Chit Chat ephemera over the top of the original die cut. It was more appropriate for a card than what was on there. Don't be afraid to layer up the ephemera and make it work for your specific project! I loved adding some additional sparkle with some stickles and the fun snowflake sprinkles found on the Snow Colorful Shape Sprinkles added a great splash of color and dimension to this wintery mountain card.

This file folder card was a joy to decorate up with the Winter Wonderland Shaker Pop! I mounted it on one of the tags in the Bits and Pieces. Some pretty snowflakes and a cute sticker banner sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet round this one out! Check out the pretty gems on the centers of the snowflakes - These are from the Mini Jewels.

This card makes me want to snuggle up in a warm sweater and drink some hot cocoa! One of my favorite card-making techniques is to layer up some of the Odds and Ends Ephemera and make a little smattering of icons. These snowy-themed icons look great mounted on some pretty glitter paper and some of the beautiful blue paper from the Textured Cardstock.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that these cards have warmed your heart and inspired you to make a batch for your favorite pals. It's a great way to spend a cold, winter day! See you all again next time! Happy Crafting!

SNOW MUCH FUN CARD ASSORTMENT MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello there, It's Conny and I'm excited to share my latest mini album with you, created using the Snow Much Fun Collection. I incorporated acetate and the Snow Much Fun Assortment Cards and Envelopes to make it simple and easy.

I began with two chipboard pieces. One was used for the back cover while the other was for the spine. For the front cover, I used acetate. I wrapped the chipboard with blue polka dot side of the Snow Much Fun paper and added a little extra detail by stitching it.

To create the acetate cover, I cut a piece measuring 6.5" X 6" and scored it at 1.5". I stitched it to the outside of my spine using a sewing machine to keep it together. However, if you don't have one, you can still use your favorite glue that dries clear. To adhere the back cover to the spine, I used a piece of white cardstock measuring 4" X 6", scored at 1.5", and added the 1.5" to adhere it to the spine using your favorite glue.

I used cards and envelopes to create pages for my project. To hold the cards in place, I used hinges that measured 5" X 3". I scored them at 1" and 2". Additionally, I used another piece that measured 1" X 5" and scored it at 1/2". I adhered it to the middle of the first hinge and then placed the hinges in the middle of the spine.

I added double-sided tape to both sides of the hinges, then adhered the cards and envelopes to create pockets or flip-open designs.  Next I started the fun by adding embellishments and decorating! For the cover page, I kept it simple and used Hello Winter Doodle-Pops along with a few gems.

I can't wait to see what you all create using the Snow Much Fun Collection! Take care and see you all soon. XO, Conny.
