HEY PUMPKIN HALLOWEEN NIGHT LAYOUT | with Erica

Hey friends! Erica here sharing a 12x12 layout using the new and adorable Hey Pumpkin collection.

I started with a cut file that I cut out with some Beetle Black textured cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. I backed the file with papers from the Hey Pumpkin 6x6 paper pad and the 12x12 Hey Pumpkin coordinating cardstock pack.

Once the cut file was backed I popped it up with some foam adhesive. For my layout base I used a lily white textured cardstock trimmed down to 11.25 square and matted it onto some beetle black textured cardstock to help it pop. Next I added the 12x12 boo-tiful bouquet paper mat.

I used one of my favorite background stamps to create splatter around the layout to add a little something behind the cut file. Next I adhered the cutfile to my layout and then added my photos. For my title I picked two chit chat words and adhered them under my photos.

I wanted to keep it simple on the embellishments so I added a few puffy icon stickers around the Halloween Wreath. I also wanted to use a couple of the adorable puffy ghost stickers so I added them around the title.

I love how the layout turned out using the Hey Pumpkin collection! Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug Blog today!

SWEET & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Spooky Season is creeeeeping closer! Like what I did there?! I just love documenting Halloween! I think its the dress-ups and the costumes that really get me in the mood for the spooky season!

I am absolutely LOVING working with the Sweet & Spooky collection for past Halloween memories! Lucky I still have a young kid who will dress up and get his photo taken! Don't you think he looks cool?! I started with a white cardstock base and then took the Taffy Stripe 12' x 12' patterned paper and cut each of the colors into strips. I adhered the black, purple, teal and orange strips onto the white cardstock leaving a gap between each. Once adhered I bent up the edges of the paper strips with my fingers to create some texture.

When I was creating this layout I knew that I wanted to embellish the page using a tone on tone effect. I placed the border strip stickers down first from the This and That Cardstock Sticker sheet and then adhered my photo to the right hand side of the page, I layered the 'B' side of the Bitty Boos paper under my photo and used craft foam underneath my photo for some dimension. I started at the top with my embellishing, pulling out some black embellishments including the bats from the October Sky Doodle Pop and the 'Boo' word from the Boo Crew Doodle Pop.

Next was purple, then teal and then orange. I love the acetate pieces included in the Odds and Ends die-cut pack! I just had to add the teal spider webs! What about those super cute mini cake pop and candy puffy stickers!? I love how the clusters of embellishments all look together cascading down the page! I did overlap some of the colors on to others to give the feel that they all fell out of a packet and landed on the page that way!

I used different levels of adhesive on my layout too, I love doing this also to create interest and to have some things standing out and emphasized more than others. I absolutely ADORE the gorgeous little faces on all the pumpkins! I love that some have just 1 tooth and some have their eyes closed with a cute smile too! I added some white mist once I was happy with all of the placement of my embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to create some cute projects using your Sweet & Spooky collection! Happy creating!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - CANDY CARNIVAL LAYOUT | with Tegan

Real life spiders scare me, but I can't get enough of the cute spiders from the fun new Candy Carnival collection! And I usually avoid real life spider webs, but I am having a blast playing with the Doodlebug Design Booville Spider Circle Cut File! It is safe to say, the only spider web I'd like to get tangled up in is the patterned paper one on my layout! Ha!

To make the spider web cut out, I used the Booville Spider Circle Cut File and gray cardstock to make the spider web about 8 inches tall. I then backed each section with some of my favorite Candy Carnival patterned papers. I used the scalloped circle Hocus Pocus sticker for part of my title and embellished it with adorable candy shaped Candy Carnival enamel pieces.

I added a Jolly Jack-O-Lantern enamel shape to the hot air balloon odds & Ends piece for fun! And aren't the jack-o-lantern die cut shapes just darling?!

One of my favorite die cut pieces from the Candy Carnival Odds & Ends pack is the banner! I added a couple Sweet Treats enamel shapes to it to add a little dimension. I also love the colorful pinwheel Odds & Ends pieces too because they make me think of what Halloween fireworks might look like.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the Candy Carnival collection and document your favorite Halloween photos!
