HEY PUMPKIN GHOUL FRIENDS LAYOUT | with Nathalie
Halloween is just a few days! Time to get ready to celebrate and document all those fun and spooky activities with the beautiful Hey Pumpkin collection. I love the fun designs and colors in this collection, and they were perfect to document this story.
Can you believe that I only used my 6x6 paper pad to create this layout! I wanted to play with circles, and the smaller patterns were just what I need it to make the photo pop on the page.
I started by trimming the stripe paper into two 6x3" strips and set them on the gray cardstock so they lay from left to right edges. However, I set them so they are about 1" higher on the right side of the page.
Next it was all about the circles. I simply cut a few circles (with a metal die) from the 6x6 paper pad. I layered a few of them with a second circle to create a frame-like idea, and also to minimize the patterns on the page. I set them in a zig zag motion down the page. Then placed the photo atop the two paper strips.
Then it was all about embellishing, I pulled pieces from the Bits and Pieces, Odds and Ends, to add interest to the circles. I added icon stickers, puffy stickers and Doodle pops as I worked down the page. For the title, I reached for large Chit Chat words and added extra puffy stickers to bring it all together.
I love how this layout came together so easily. I cannot wait to see all your Halloween paper crafting. Remember to check the Hey Pumpkin collection! XO

HEY PUMPKIN TRUNK OR TREAT LAYOUT | with Traci
Hey scrappers! Traci here and today, I have a super simple 12x12 layout to share with you that's made with the adorable Hey Pumpkin Collection. It's titled Trunk or Treat and it's perfect for your Halloween photos. Because I make so many kits, I have lots of wonderful scraps. I love the papers and I wouldn't dare throw them out. So, I save them for a fun project like this!
To start, I used the 12x12 Plaid It's Halloween pattern paper and layered lily white cardstock on top to create the base.
Next, the colorful squares. I used a 1 3/4" square punch by Marvy Uchida to cut 21 shapes out of the mix of 12x12 and 6x6 patterns. I also punched a few images out of the Trick or Treat Tags paper. The candle sitting on the books above came from one of those tags.
Once I had the squares arranged on the page, I created two photo mats out of the pink Boo-tiful Bouquet paper. I added a few flower die cuts from the Bit & Pieces and some enamel stars from the October Sky shape sprinkles.
I love this little pink car! Did you notice the little "boo" license plate, the skull hood ornament, and the headlights that look like eyes? Such fun details. It's from the icon stickers and the colorful "trunk or treat" is from the Chit Chat. So cute!
Every page needs a little shine, so I decorated the tree mini icon sticker with lots of enamel dots from the Trick or Treats shape sprinkles. It's the Halloween version of a Christmas tree! And sitting underneath, a cute pumpkin puffy sticker.
What a simple layout, right? I love it when a project comes together easily and you have such fun products to play with. The Hey Pumpkin Collection is perfect for Halloween crafts with its pretty holiday colors and adorable little characters. I hope my layout gives you a little inspiration!
