Meet One of Coffee and Cashmere's Newest Sponsors!

Check out one of our newest sponsors, Misses Dressy! They specialize in formal attire for every occasion. From wedding to prom and homecoming dresses, they're the site to check out.

I used to work at a boutique where we sold fancy smancy dresses on the reg. We had walls and walls of Jovani and Sherri Hill. Those were fun times. I miss having reasons to model couture dresses. Now, it's leggings and tanks. And flats. Every. Day. Chasing a two year old around at the grocery store in stilettos just looks silly. Even though I was eyeballing some amazing black 4 inchers that were studded with spikes and jewels just yesterday. I can dream, right?

Anyhavingkidsmesseswithyourdresscode, Misses Dressy has a huge selection of dresses from all the hottest designers. They also have a fashion and style blog.

Here are some of my favorites of their designer dresses!

Candy Coded

A collection of shoes from Frock Candy

I'm in super lust with this clothing site called Frock Candy. They have locations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Destin, Florida, plus an online store. So, next time I'm down in their neck of the woods, I'm for sure stopping in. I've been craving some good seafood. I'd literally kill someone for a bowl of shrimp gumbo and those leather boots right now. I jest, I jest.

After seeing so many beautiful ballerina photos, I started thinking how I've always loved the femininity they exude. Here are my top choices to acquire that girly essence.

Pink Ice Dream

One of my favorite notsoexpensive clothing websites is Pink Ice. Their stuff just lasts. I totes dislike it when you buy cheap clothes and four or five wears later they look like rags. I bought dresses four years ago from them that look great today. One, of which, I wear quite frequently. Another hook, line, and sinker is, when you order things from them, they give you Pink Ice Points. You get 5% added to your total to use next time. I have ten dollars in points that I need to use. Another reason to go buy something..

It's My Party

Right before my sixteenth birthday, I looked everywhere for the perfect dress for my party. I remember my mom saying, "you are only this age once!" I know I responded with, "No, duh, Mom." I was fifteen and a total cranky teenager. But I do hate that saying. You are only (blank) once. Really?! Is that the way life works? You are telling me I won't repeat my twenty-first birthday? I am not okay with this.
Anygettingolderislame, I ended up ordering a dress from Windsor Fashions. It came in and I loved it. Back then, we used disposable cameras (old school), and I took the allotted 24 pictures during my party. I was so excited to get them developed a few days after, but to my absolute horror, something happened to the camera during the developing process. I literally cried in Walmart in front of the photo department. Needless to say, I don't have any pictures from that night.

I decided to go over to that website, because it has been so many years. The store is just called Windsor now and are still selling clothes, but it's centered more around prom and special occasion dresses. I did find some awesome sale items that are less than eleven dollars. Check it.

When In Doubt, Glitter It Out

Leaving Bear Creek Music Festival. My face is still full of metal. The music was incredible, the people were beautiful, and the memories are unforgettable. But, gosh, I'm ready to be home. I am tiiyyard.
