When I found out I was pregnant with Adrienne, the first thing I bought myself was a diaper bag. I searched high and low for the perfect one, not wanting to settle on some el-cheapo plastic carrier. After all, I was creating a baby inside my uterus, I deserved a nice diaper bag. 

I really wanted one that transformed nicely from holding bottles and baby wipes to being a regular handbag. Why spend a good bit of money for a baby bag when it didn't convert? Lame. I ended up buying a Michael Kors black patent leather diaper bag. The thing was/is gorgeous. It even had the changing pad cover. Although, I was constantly worried about Adrienne pooping on it, because, well, who poops on Michael Kors? 

Anyidontmissblowouts, I have fallen completely in love with BabyBeau. This company just gets it. They offer gorgeous leather diaper bags that transform into luxury handbags after all the baby business is over. These diaper carriers don't even look like they should carry dirty nappies. They look effortlessly chic and classic, things every new mother wants. Because nighttime feedings and nipple butter aren't.  

My two favorite BabyBeau bags are the Ellie (pictured above) and the Eden (pictured below). I mean do these two guys look like traditional diaper bags? No way, José. The Ellie is made from cow leather and is perfect for modern moms on the go. The Eden's buffalo leather screams vintage for a more boho mommy feel. Both have enough room for days. So, go ahead and pack all twenty pacifiers. 

The best part about these bags are their removable organizer pouches. It's like a bag in a bag! You can keep all of your baby needs in it, and then easily take it out to convert to a regular handbag. Hello date night.

I'm in super lust with this clothing site called Frock Candy. They have locations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Destin, Florida, plus an online store. So, next time I'm down in their neck of the woods, I'm for sure stopping in. I've been craving some good seafood. I Spy

Today has been pretty much uneventful. I really don't have much to talk about. I started thinking how I haven't blogged about what's inside my purse in a long minute. So, here we go. 

I, per usual, had no idea what was inside of it. As it turns out, the contents were just as boring as the day. Meh. 

• Fendi Spy Bag - My favorite purse ever. No big deal.
• Hobo International Lauren Wallet - Have had this thing for years and years. It used to be a bright teal blue. I have no idea what color that's supposed to be now. It has seen some better days.
• Gushers Fruit Snacks - One never knows when hunger might strike.
• Lovely Eau de Parfum by Sarah Jessica Parker  - Feminine, yet very woodsy. It doesn't overpower with a floral scent. Plus, it lasts throughout the day.
• iPhone 3GS in Otter Box Case - Gangster. I really want to upgrade, but don't need it. I wish I had the 4's camera, though. 
• Amazon Gift Card - Thanks to the fam.
• Palmer's Cocoa Butter Swivel Stick - I'm obsessed with chapstick. I could eat this stuff up. It smells that good. I also like how big and bulky this is. Coverage at it's finest. 
• Random Bangle Bracelet - I keep rando jewelry on the reg.
• Expo Vis-A-Vis Wet Dry Markers - These are normally super expensive, but they were on sale. They're great for writing on glass. 

So, that's what's in my bag. 

A Story Begins

I want to give kudus to a fantastic woman, Libby Story McRight. She started a business in my hometown and it blossomed into two fabulous locations and a website, featured in Seventeen, Health, Lucky, and People magazines. Her unique eye for vintage and current fashions never disappoint. She even makes her own jewelry and cuts up old clothes to turn into one of a kind pieces. Ba da ba ba ba, I'm lovin' it.
