Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulalia

The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and St. Eulalia is one of the few churches in Barcelona that were not damaged by civil wars.

Neptune Fountain

Sculptor Juan Pascual de Mena started working on this fountain way back in 1780. The marble statue of Neptune has a trident in one hand and a coiled snake in the other. The fountain is located at Paseo del Prado, a few steps away from the Prado Museum in Madrid.

Barcelona Olympic Stadium

Strangely, the Barcelona Olympic Stadium was built way back in 1929, but wasn't used for the Olympics until 1992. Prior to that, it was used for football matches and concerts that require a seating capacity of about 60,000 people.

Giant Ants

It looks like a colony of giant ants, but as the passers-by are completely unperturbed by this, it hits you very quickly that it's just clever decor on a glass structure. Barcelona, Spain. 

Madrid by Bus

Madrid by bus, and not just any bus, but an open-air, double-decker bus. Boy, do they love the sun. When the sun comes out, everyone just has to go out and get a healthy dose of it.
