Christoph Niemann is an illustrator, artist and author. We like his 'Sunday sketches' but there's lot more to explore. Take a look at his portfolio, we also love 'Coffee', 'Biodiversity' and 'I lego NY'

klaxon festival
a while ago, we visited klaxon festival at 't Werkhuys.
this stripfest, expo and preformance festival was curated by the talented and ever happy Dimitri 'JangoJim' Sakelaropolus and Bries.
We saw a lot of great comics, books, cards, art and really enjoyed the exhibitions on the first floor, with works of Brecht Vandenbroucke, Marcel Ruijters, Lukas Verstraete, Pieter Fannes, Wobby collectief, Frank Wagemans, Samplerman, Wide Vercnocke and Olivier Schrauwen.

tree drawings
Tim Knowles (UK) attached some drawing implements to the tips of tree branches. The wind moves the branches and the pen's draw on paper. Simple, yet clever.

dear diary
While we visited Mokkakapot for an afternoon coffee, we saw this funny exposition.
"Getekende zendingen" is made by Dankoe (Femke). If you want to see it, hurry up, because the next expo "sossis" opens in a week.

lampshade
I used a light blue stabilo felt pen for drawing (not permanent, so probably it will get lighter after a while). It suits our hall.

tattoo art
Jessica Harrison (Edinburgh, Scotland) painted sailor inspired tattoos on ceramics. Great idea! Now on show at Galerie LJ, Paris as part of the exhibition FLASH, open until June 24th.
