Flowering Bike to Brighten the Day

A bright card to cheer a winter's day
11
This is the Francoise Collection Clear Magic stamp Flowering Bike
12
I have simply stamped with Bark Crafters ink from ClearSnap I have stamped on A4 Cream Linen card
13
I stamped it again on some pre-cut plain cream card and some pink.
14
Then I put the layers together.
15
I used my Tombow Glue stick so that I can move the pieces around to get them perfectly lined up, well I hope that they are perfectly lined up!
16
I then coloured in with a mixture of Sakura Water colour pencils and my Stardust gel pens.
17
the colours are just slightly darker on the pink card, but you can still see them.
18
I used Sakura Micron pen to add the faux stitching.
11
I stamped with the Bark Crafters pad on the ribbon and remembered to attach it around the pink panel before attaching it to the card!

Bubble Bloom Lilly if you are Feeling Blue Why not Paint Yourself a New Color?

Why not paint yourself a new color?
9
I have used one of Jane Gill's popular Clear Magic Bubble Bloom stamps this one is called Lilly and is from the July 2016 release.
1
First I stamped and embossed in silver, and then coloured the petals with Koi Brush Pens, place my foam pads where I planned to put the Card Candi and then started adding the Mark Richards 5mm Pearls.
2
I realised that I didn't like the blue of the leaves, so I added another colour on top, you can see the aqua colour on its own too. I rather like the 2 tone effect on the leaves.
4
The Card Candi is Time Flies and I added Glossy Accents to the aqua bubbles. the tiny bubbles have been Stickled with Aqua.
5
The papers are Time Flies too, I hope that you can see that I have sprayed the background paper with the blue colour from the Rangers Dylusions Mica Sprays, it is very subtile but lovely, of course it shows up more on dark papers.
6
I have embossed in silver around all of the layers.
10
I made a mistake when I was putting the card together and had trouble added the ribbon, it should have been added before I put the layers together!
8
I stamped and embossed the greeting from the same stamp set on the Time Flies paper, and used the Tag Top punch.

Kicking off with the Soccer Boot

Today we have a card from Jane the Flower Girl
jane
Jane has used her Football Boot Clear Magic stamp set. Jane has stamped nine footballs from the set on green card with a black dye ink, then cut them out, and mounted them on some grey card.
jane-1
Jane has then stamped the boot on some white card, coloured it and cut it out. Jane has only attached the boot at the top of the card with some cord so that it can swing. Just punch a tiny hole in the top of the boot and in the card layer before you put the card together.
a little reminder of the sketch
A great card, and team colours will make it a perfect card for soccer fan or player, yet another brilliant stamp designed by Jane the Flower Girl!

Blue Christmas Trees?

Here we have some wonderful blue Christmas trees, well why not?
23
The stamp is from the Francoise Collection and is  a Clear Magic set called Christmas Trees. Yes very original name, but they are very original trees.
27
sorry I forgot to take a photograph of the stamped image, I have coloured the stamp with Koi Brush Pens just the two colours, and then stamped on Woodware Glossy Card. then I punched them out with the blue size circle and scalloped oval. Then I sprinkld some Stampendous Shabby Blue Frantage embossing powder.
21
I cut tags with the Tag Top Punch the square one is a 2 inch strip and the curved top is 2.5 inches. I stamped them with the border from the Stampendous Snowfall Pair Jumbo Cling Rubber stamp set. I have used to lovely delicate Ice Blue Pearl Metallic embossing powder, it is one of my favourites.
25
I have edged the circles with the Ice Blue powder
26
and the scalloped ovals with the Shabby Blue.
22
18
I used my heat tool to distress the Organza ribbon.
19
I really must start to buy some presents to use these tags with!

Woodware - Whimsical Bloom

Kim is here with a lovely floral take on the sketch
Kim has used the Clear Magic Whimsical Flower - Sally Anne designed by Jane Gill.

Kim has used a piece of paper from her vast stash of hand made background papers this one has made using 'Bleeding Art Tissue' technique. next Kim has stamped with a black pigment ink and embossed with clear powder.
To add highlights Kim has painted with water to remove some of the colour, have some kitchen towel at hand to soak up the wet ink.

Then to make parts extra white Kim got out her bleach, and painted with it. Remember to use the very cheap thin bleach for this.  A touch of sparkle comes from the Sakura Gelli Roll Clear Stardust pen.
The flags have been made using the great Dreamweaver Dual Alphabet die set.
A great take on the sketch
56
and of course you will find an second card on Kim's blog using the same technique and sketch.

Frosty Tags

We are such an organised lot on the Woodware DT, just look at Kim's wonderful tags
I am so impressed and such a clever way to make them

Kim has made a master board with a Francoise Collection Retro Snowflake and the Christmas word is from an old Francoise set too.
To make the master board Kim has stamped with bleach and then embossed with Stampendous Shabby Green Frantage powder, now I have stamped with bleach and coloured with bleach but Kim has embossed on top of her bleach, which is a new one on me. (every day is a school day!)
On the paler blue card Kim has used silver powder on top of her bleach.
Kim has used alphabet peel offs to put the names on the tags.
Kim has cut the master-board into strips and then used the Tag Top punch , it really is a must have pair of punches. I love that Kim has made the tags different sizes, but they are all matching.

Kim has created sixteen tags from two master boards genius  they are all slightly different, but a definitely a set and fast too.
Kim has been very busy on her blog this week so pop over and see what else she has been up to.

Chocolates for the Christmas Table

We are not big on fancy chocolates in our house but we do like an After Eight Mint, or two, so I have made this box for them to sit on the Christmas table.
25
I think that I saw this on the Craftwork Cards Blog but I am not sure.
23
I have cut my card 9 inches square.
16
I used my scoring blade in my trimmer and scored at 3 and 6 inches in both directions
17
Then  fold and crease all of the score lines.
18
Use a ruler to score a diagonal line BUT don't score the centre square as it is the bottom of the box. Score the four corners.
12
The stamp is Jane Gill's Little Christmas Bird Clear Magic stamp.
13
I would normally use a watermark pad to stamp, but because it is a solid stamp I got better definition by using a red ink pad and red embossing powder. I hope that you can see the difference.
15
The background paper is from one of the 6 x 6 pads I have edged the paper squares with gold embossing.
14
I have made all four sides the same.
19
I do love the face of the bird!
20
I had to be careful when sticking on the birds that they are the right way up.
I punched out a square of card and drew a diagonal lines across it this I placed on the corner and punched through it so that my punch holes are more or less in the same place.
21
can you see my deliberate mistake, yes I drew my line all the way across.
24
Perfect for our After Eight Mints, I wonder if they will last until Christmas, well I wonder if they will make it to the weekend!
23
Gingham ribbon is perfect for holding it all together, and then I can undo the ribbon and fold it flat to store for next year.
