Bring on the Bling!!!

That is our Challenge for this week. Bling it up! I stamped and embossed the butterflies and then I painted them with Shimmerz! Good thing I am a fan and have like every color because I used alot of them! Then I used Log Cabin Smooch Spritz for the embossed square panel... and that is shimmery too! The flowers have glittery brads on them and I had to quit there otherwise... this card would have been totally crazy with glitter and bling!
Please note that we are having a followers contest... when we get to 100... we will have some blog candy!!!
and do y'all know about the special? Order any stamp set and get 2 free INKY LINKS! What are INKY LINKS you ask? they are really cool stamp pads that come in 8 colors. They are wonderful for kids... or general stamping as well! They have cool little hooks on them that join them all together! So thanks for popping in and stay tuned for more glittery fun tomorrow!

Challenge #2 - Favorite Technique - Heat Embossing

Hi All,

It's me, Anne, today!  I have the final sample for you this week featuring our DT's Favorite Techniques!

This was a tough call because there's ALWAYS a new technique and each time I try one it's my "new" Favorite Technique!  But I have to say, I fell in love with card making when I learned how to heat emboss, so that is the technique I chose as my favorite!   Heat embossing is the basis for so many different techniques.  My card today is made using heat embossing to do the "Stained Glass" technique.

I used a leafy image from Woodware's fabulous "Flora" stamp set!!  The images in this set are totally unique, I have loved playing with them!

I used black pigment ink to stamp the image and embossed with CLEAR embossing powder onto my velum cardstock.  I colored the REVERSE side with dye ink pens.

The image is layered with the embossed side facing out.

Hope you've enjoyed the samples this week all created with Woodware stamps!!  Please check in again tomorrow for the start of a brand new challenge!!  A new card is posted EVERY DAY here on the Woodware blog!!

Hugs,
Anne

Polar Bear Outing... Quick and Simple!

This was a quickie... and that is a GOOD THING! I like to take snippets of time during my child filled day and create... and I have to be QUICK! Since I know that I am not the only one with little ones out there... I wanted to let you all know that this card took like 10 minutes to make! I stamped the scene, embossed it with white EP and then I added the stickles. I used the corner slot punch, added some bling, cuz that's how I roll, and here it is! I also added some stickles to the white EP to make it more "snowy". I Used a black marker to make the eyes stand out more... and here it is! OH YEAH... I did this all on card stock vellum.10 minutes ladies.I challenge you all to steal some time and make a QUICKIE...and I would love to see what y'all come up with! Please link up your creation to this post in the comments section...Thanks for popping in and have a great day!!!
