YW winter retreat

February 24-25, 2017
Yellow Sage Ward

Selfie Scavenger Hunt

Ya gotta love those willing to sacrifice their dignity for the sake of the enjoyment of others.

This YW activity was a blast and will not soon be forgotten by these sweet girls. (Or their leaders who dressed up for them)

Inspiring

Janica Pickett.  You amaze me.  Your little body has been through the ringer and you always have a smile on your face.  Thank you for letting us come visit you at Shriners Hospital while you were there.  You taught us a lot about having a positive attitude, and making the best of what life hands us.  Hoping you recover well,
Love,
Sis. White and the Yellow Sage YW

YW & Daddy Day

June 28, 2016
Three legged kick ball.
It looks just as fun to play as it is to watch.
This was just one of the events we had at our combined YW activity tonight.  We played crab soccer, and had a waterballoon slingshot launch as well.  It was so fun watching the girls interact with their big tough daddy's.

Floored

(Michelle made these adorable flags...click on them to see her post)
This past Sunday I was sustained as a Beehive Adviser in my ward. I was SOOOOO excited to finally be back in Young Womens! (I served 4 years right when BJ and I got married and didn't want it to end)

so...

After Sacrament, I was walking down the hall and had so many people stop me and ask with a hesitant look, "How do you feel about that???"

I was confused, shell shocked, and just floored. Who doesn't want to serve in Young Women's???

After a couple days to contemplate, I came up with the idea that maybe people didn't enjoy those awkward, insecure, vulnerable, yet wonderful, momentous, defining years of youth. I did. I survived. I can't wait to help these beautiful young women the way my leaders helped me.
