LF Inspiration Week: Dandy Day

Hi friends! I hope you're excited because the Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week starts today! The design team will be sharing projects this week that feature the new Lawn Fawn release which will be available for purchase on Thursday, February 20th.

Today, we are sharing projects that feature the Dandy Day stamp set! How cute are those little mice? Especially that little baby mouse!

I created this card by using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die on a piece of white cardstock and lightly ink blended the background with an oval stencil and Lawn Fawn inks (Mermaid and Freshly Cut Grass). I attached the piece of white cardstock to a white card base. I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers, and die cut them with the coordinating die cuts. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock and die cut the sentiments with the Simple Wavy Banners die. I arranged the images and sentiments onto the card, attached them with foam tape, and then finished the card by stamping a few hearts and dandelion seeds on the background.

My second card today features the Dandy Day stamp set with a custom sentiment using the new Oliver's Stitched ABCs die!

I created the background with the Meadow Backdrop die and ink blended the sky and grass with Distress Oxide inks. The images are all colored with Copic markers and attached with foam tape. For the sentiment, I cut the letters for dandy three times and glued them together. I ink blended the bottom of the top layer of the sentiment in pink to add some extra color to the card.

There's a ton of inspiration this week on the Lawn Fawn blog, so make sure to stop by and enter the giveaway each day!

Thanks for visiting and I'll have more inspiration to share tomorrow! :)

Mighty Hands Inspiration Week - Good Gift and Peace Words

Hello again! I have two cards to share with you today that feature products from the new Mighty Hands release!

My first card features the new Good Gift stamp set. This set is so cute and it would be perfect to create a new baby card!

To create my card, I started by using a cloud stencil and ink blending a light blue cloudy sky. I used Lawn Fawn's Rose Gold embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment in the lower left corner. I stamped the child and balloon onto white cardstock, colored the image with Copic markers, and fussy cut the image out. I attached the image with foam tape, and them stamped a few birds in the sky. I also stamped a few small hearts in pink ink from a Lawn Fawn stamp set that I had in my stash.

My second card showcases the Peace Words stamp set. I like the big, scripty "peace" and how it can work with the smaller sentiments included in the set.

I started with a piece of purple paper from Lawn Fawn's Watercolor Wishes paper pack and die cut it with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames die.  I kept the frame with the dark side up, but I flipped the inside rectangle over so that the lighter paper was inside the frame. Then, I stamped the "peace" in purple ink, and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment on black cardstock. I attached the black cardstock and the dove with foam tape, and I also used foam tape to pop up the frame. This would be so cute to recreate in a variety of colors!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to check out more inspiration on the Mighty Hands Instagram page and to enter the giveaway! And there's free shipping in the Mighty Hands store until October 31st! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Cupcake

Good morning!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Stitched Cupcake die set.

This set makes the cutest cupcakes! For my card, I die cut the cupcake wrappers from Really Rainbow Scallops patterned paper. The cupcake is die cut from Vanilla Malt cardstock, and the icing is from various shades of Lawn Fawn cardstock.

Once I had the cupcakes attached together, I added liquid glue to the top of the icing and sprinkles on some chunky glitter to make it look like sprinkles. After that dried, I die cut and attached the candles and hearts onto each of the cupcakes.

I created a slim line card that measures 3 1/2" by 8 1/2" and I attached a piece of grey Spring Fling patterned paper before I attached the cupcakes. I die cut and added strawberries along the bottom and attached them foam tape. The sentiment is from the Scripty Sweet die and On the Beach stamp set.

To create the "sweet" sentiment, I die cut three layers from white cardstock and glued the layers together. Then, I used the embossing ink pad to add ink to the die cut and coated it with rose gold embossing powder. I heat set the embossing powder, added another layer of embossing power, and heat set it again. Once it was dry, I glued it to the bottom of the card and added the rest of the sentiment with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today! And thank you for all of the sweet comments this week! Have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all having a good week so far! The weather has been so nice here this week! My kids have had a blast playing outside all afternoon and I have enjoyed that they are all tuckered out for bedtime, haha!

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics have collaborated together to create an exclusive card making kit! It includes an exclusive mini stamp set, coordinating die, lights, template, and easy-to-follow instructions. This limited kit is already sold out at Lawn Fawn, but there are still kits available in the Chibitronics store. Purchase your kit before it sells out!

The kit helps you create two light up cards, but you can also use the robot stamp set to create other cute cards! For my card, I stamped the robots multiple times and colored them in rainbow colors with Copic markers. I added a coordinating birthday hat from the RAWRSOME stamp set. The background is patterned paper from the Spiffy Speckles collection. I also created a custom sentiment with Riley's ABC's and an Everyday Sentiment Banner. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto Black Licorice cardstock. Here's a close up on the cute robots:

Stop by the Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics blog for more inspiration using this fun set! And enter the giveaway on the Lawn Fawn blog for your chance to win this limited and exclusive set!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Winter Skies

Good morning everyone! I hope that your week is going well so far! :)

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Winter Skies stamp and die set!

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut it with the largest Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die. I stamped a few snowflakes with Lawn Fawn's Embossing Ink Pad, covered the snowflakes with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it with my heat gun. Then, I used Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks to lightly ink blend a sky. I also spritzed the background with a little bit of water to add some more detail to the sky. I attached that cardstock panel to a white card base and added the Copic colored images with foam tape. The sentiment is also heat embossed, die cut with an Everyday Sentiment Banner, and attached with foam tape. Here's a close up on the card:

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you like the card! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration featuring the Winter Skies stamp set!
