LF Release Week: Unicorn Picnic and Puffy Cloud Backdrop

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week and that you're excited for another Lawn Fawn release week!! Hurray! This release is filled with some of the cutest designs that are definitely going to make you smile!

Today, the design team is sharing projects that feature the Unicorn Picnic stamp set. The unicorns are so sweet, especially with all of their dessert goodies!

For this card, I started by creating a lightly ink blended background with the Cloudy Stencil. I wanted a little bit of detail in the background without taking away for the adorable picnic. The critters and images were stamped with black ink onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and cut with the coordinating die cuts. I arranged the images onto the card and attached them with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I used the Scripty Sweet die cut from gold sparkle cardstock for some extra sparkle. The "you're so" is from the new Simply Summer Sentiments stamp set and is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. To create the frame, I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop die cut from white cardstock and carefully cut out the tree. I attached the frame with liquid glue and attached the panel to a white card base. I finished by stamping a few stars in yellow ink.

I have another card to share that features the new Puffy Cloud Backdrop die. This die can be used to create adorable cloudy skies which are perfect for the unicorns, but it can also be used in other ways, such as a puffy tree! I used the backdrop die to cut Cilantro cardstock, cut off a the bottom layers, and attached it along the top of a card to look like a tree.

I added images from the Oh Gnome! and A Bug Deal stamp sets to create the scene. I also used the puffy cloud backdrop to cut a piece of Noble Fir cardstock and added one puffy hillside behind the trees, although it's hard to see behind the cute gnomes. The other grassy hill was cut with the Stitched Hillside Borders and the sentiment was white heat embossed along the top. Here's a closer look at the puffy clouds turned trees:

Don't forget to check out the rest of the inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog. The design team did an amazing job! And I'll be back again tomorrow with more inspiration. Have a great day! :)

LF Inspiration Week: How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On

Good morning, friends! It's time for the October Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!

Today, we are sharing inspiration that features the How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On set. It is designed to work with the How You Bean? stamp and die set, but it can also be used on its own.

I added the cookies to the jar and added a few cookies around it to fill the card. I added the Scripty Sweet die cut from Rainforest cardstock to the sentiment that is included in the cookie add-on set. I also used the Snow Day Remix patterned paper for the background and finished by adding an Orchid colored twine bow at the top of the jar. We hand out cookies or some sort of snack to our neighbors every December, and this card will be perfect to include with the cookies!

There's more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog and there's a chance to win a prize, too!

Thanks so much for visiting today! Have a great day!! :)

LF Inspiration Week: Stitched Cupcake

Good morning!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week continues today with a look at the Stitched Cupcake die set.

This set makes the cutest cupcakes! For my card, I die cut the cupcake wrappers from Really Rainbow Scallops patterned paper. The cupcake is die cut from Vanilla Malt cardstock, and the icing is from various shades of Lawn Fawn cardstock.

Once I had the cupcakes attached together, I added liquid glue to the top of the icing and sprinkles on some chunky glitter to make it look like sprinkles. After that dried, I die cut and attached the candles and hearts onto each of the cupcakes.

I created a slim line card that measures 3 1/2" by 8 1/2" and I attached a piece of grey Spring Fling patterned paper before I attached the cupcakes. I die cut and added strawberries along the bottom and attached them foam tape. The sentiment is from the Scripty Sweet die and On the Beach stamp set.

To create the "sweet" sentiment, I die cut three layers from white cardstock and glued the layers together. Then, I used the embossing ink pad to add ink to the die cut and coated it with rose gold embossing powder. I heat set the embossing powder, added another layer of embossing power, and heat set it again. Once it was dry, I glued it to the bottom of the card and added the rest of the sentiment with foam tape. Here's a closer look at the card:

Thanks so much for visiting today! And thank you for all of the sweet comments this week! Have a great day! :)
