Merry Mice with Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi friends! Lawn Fawn has a fun surprise for you all today! They have teamed up with Chibitronics to bring you this adorable, exclusive stamp set and card making kit! The kit includes a medium sized stamp set, coordinating dies, lights, template, and easy-to-follow instructions. The kit is available at Lawn Fawn and the Chibitronic stores while supplies last!

I created an outdoor scene for the mice to decorate their Christmas tree. The images are all stamped onto white cardstock with Jet Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the images and to add the hole in the star for the light. Then, I used white embossing powder for part of the sentiment and Finley's ABCs dies for the "mice" all with black cardstock. The "mice" letters were coated with the LF glitter pen for some extra sparkle.

The background was created by heat embossing the snow from the Snowy Backdrops stamp set. Then, I ink blended the background with Peacock and Blue Jay ink. I created a snowy hillside with the Stitched Hillside Borders die from white cardstock, and I also created a frame by cutting out the tree from the Leafy Tree Backdrop die. Once the scene was created, I lined up the front panel with a white card base and used a pencil to mark where the light needed to go. I created a simple circuit with the Chibitronics kit, placed the battery to make sure that the circuit worked, and then added two layers of foam tape around the battery and all over the card base. Then, I attached the front panel to the base! It's so satisfying to push that little present and see the star light up!

Here's a closer look at the card with the star lit up. My daughter had a lot of fun being a hand model for me, haha! I also think she might try to sneak this card to keep in her room and play with at night!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration using this stamp set and card kit, and don't forget to order the kit at the Lawn Fawn store before supplies run out! Have a great day! :)

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi everyone! I hope that you're all having a good week so far! The weather has been so nice here this week! My kids have had a blast playing outside all afternoon and I have enjoyed that they are all tuckered out for bedtime, haha!

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics have collaborated together to create an exclusive card making kit! It includes an exclusive mini stamp set, coordinating die, lights, template, and easy-to-follow instructions. This limited kit is already sold out at Lawn Fawn, but there are still kits available in the Chibitronics store. Purchase your kit before it sells out!

The kit helps you create two light up cards, but you can also use the robot stamp set to create other cute cards! For my card, I stamped the robots multiple times and colored them in rainbow colors with Copic markers. I added a coordinating birthday hat from the RAWRSOME stamp set. The background is patterned paper from the Spiffy Speckles collection. I also created a custom sentiment with Riley's ABC's and an Everyday Sentiment Banner. The sentiment is white heat embossed onto Black Licorice cardstock. Here's a close up on the cute robots:

Lawn Fawn and Chibitronics

Hi everyone! I hope that you're having a great week so far! I can't believe that it's almost the end of May, which means summer is almost here! My husband is a high school teacher, so he'll have a lot more time at home once school is out - yay!

This week, the Lawn Fawn team is collaborating with Chibitronics, an awesome company that makes "circuit stickers" to light up your cards and projects! It is so much fun to create light up cards!

I used the new Ahoy, Matey set to make this cute scene. And when you push on the X....

... the treasure lights up! It's so fun! The "push here" and arrow are from the new set Push Here and the banner is from the Bannertastic set. I die cut the scene from white cardstock and the Stitched Journaling Card and created the circuit on the kraft card base. I also stamped a bunch of images from the Ahoy, Matey set on the kraft base for a fun background.

There are more light up cards on the Lawn Fawn blog, so check it out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! :)
