Great New Fabrics!

We have some great new reds and blues if you're feeling patriotic with flag day tomorrow and 4th of July here in just a couple of weeks!  Summer is happening and that is a great time for hand stitching or for staying cool in the sewing room.  We've got a little bit of fun with a variety of new collections filling the shelves!

MORE? new fabric and quilts oh my...

It seems that the UPS delivery has Two Thimbles on some kind of automatic delivery system....who did this?!  We have sew much new fabric, and each delivery seems better than the last!  Got to find some time for sewing a few projects and quilts...

More Hearty Good Wishes by Janet Clare for Moda
We have jelly rolls, and charms and mini-charms of this latest edition by Janet Clare - we still have a few fabrics left from the original Hearty Good Wishes collection and these are playing together perfectly.  Remember this great quilt that Shannon stitched up for us?  Well - it has recently found a new home via a fundraising for the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.

The group below from Moda is quickly disappearing - the variety of colors and motifs in the prints is great, and we still have a few charm packs left for a full variety of the line.
Nomad by Urban Chiks for Moda
Our latest edition to the Modern Mini collection - is actually a large hexagon, these are some of the Marcia Derse fabrics which are fun to combine and mix and match.  The background we chose is a very light silver grey, gives it just enough color but not too much we thought.  These two pillows are 16 inches, a perfect update for spring decorating?!  The pattern is from Jaybird Quilts, called Candy Dish.

This zig zag quilt is a fun variation from all the horizontal chevrons and zig zag patterns we've seen - it's called Zenith, and uses fabrics from Clothworks Beatrice collection.

And then some odds and ends to fill in the 1800's color wall and some special border stripes for fussy cutting or using to make a bold statement in a strippy quilt or final border.

Spice Palette for Marcus

Dressing Gown by Judie Rothermel for Marcus
We have a couple of new books, Civil War Remembered is here and it has some great scrappy quilts that feature civil war prints so if you're not just sure what your next project needs to be, we can set you up!

Lots of New Fabric!

Ready for a new project?? Of course you are...and we have lots of new lines to help you out!

Summit Rose by Paula Barnes

Here are just a few from the collection Summit Rose from Paula Barnes...there are a few missing from the photo that we are carrying in the store. This collection features a strong red and black border stripe, and some silver grey prints that we haven't seen alot of.  We have a project in mind for this grouping, so stay tuned for that! We've got fat quarters, as well as bundles available.

A new Jo Morton fabric is always exciting! This one is called Savannah - we aren't carrying the full collection this time but we have 17 bolts to provide a complete color grouping - and a few additional new bolts from the Madison Manor group....and lots of older classics to choose from. Fat quarters are ready to go for this grouping!

As a change of pace from the darker reproduction tones...here is a lovely new grouping of yellow and grey. The photo doesn't do the colors justice...you'll have to come see these for yourself. We have a little fat quarter bundle ready to go, as an inspiration for your next project...?

Happy Stitching!
