So these are just some recent likings from pinterest. It's interesting to scroll through my likes and see color stories that have spontaneously developed. Like here, all pink and black:

 This pretty tea towel is so lovely. The shop has a number of neat prints and notecards... 

 Well, it's not my size. But this tutu dress is gorgeous. I have a dress like this for my Barbies.

Did you see this on the front page of etsy today? It is a stationary set and the postage is already there for you AND it is kitchy vintage postage! What a neat idea.

 Super short shorts. Very pretty, but in all honestly, entirely too short for the likes of me. 

Sadly, this mug has already sold. I am collecting pedestal mugs and this would have been a charming addition to my set.

A is for Almodovar.

He's one of my favorite directors. I love the way he tells stories, all of which feature strong, interesting women. I love that he has muses that span decades, like Carmen Maura. 

He gives me beautiful colors. And with one single movie (Volver starring Penelope Cruz!) made me turn away from my tom-boyish ways and embrace femininity! (For awhile there I spent my evenings practicing eye make-up...)

So good! Really, I've liked all his movies. There was only one that I enjoyed less than the rest, Bad Education, even though Gael Garcia Bernal is the star. 

(That movie just deals with some issues I'm not comfortable with.)
