Valentine's Day

Yes, I know!
I totally forgot to post yesterday, but I was too busy playing the Mass Effect 3 Demo that released yesterday.

Anyway:

My owner's OtherHalf bought us some really cool egg-holder thingies (not sure what you call them in English). I think they're awesome.

And he gave my owner this beautiful card.
Hippos AND pigs!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day as well!

Jane and Jules

I got another beautiful card from Beanie.
He went to an expo about a woman named Jane Avril. I will have to find out more about her.

Thanks Beanie!

Today I visited the yearly comicbook fair.
I spotted this suitcase which was turned into a Jules Verne diorama. My owner tells me we'll be seeing this suitcase (and other suitcases) again later this year at an expo.

Another Mail post

Yesterday we got mail from New Zealand! It turned out to be from Helen Lowe, who send us a signed coverflat of her new book 'the Heir of Night'. It's beautiful and I so want to get my trotters on the actual book as the story sounds so cool.

Today there was a card from Beanie! I love getting mail from Beanie as his cards are all so beautiful and crafty!

thanks Helen and Beanie!!

Mail yet again!

Having a couple of quiet days over here, but while I got nothing happening, the mail keeps coming!

I got a card from Beanie today.

It's a lovely picture of the Sacré Coeur in Paris as Beanie knows I love to go to Paris one day.
Thank you, Beanie! It's a beautiful card!

Me and my owner got send bookmarks by Carolyn Crane. Carolyn did mix something up though, I think. My owner is the sidekick here, not me. But as Carolyn is such a great author and person I will not bug her too much about her mistake ;-)

Thanks you, Carolyn!!

Carolyn's second book 'Double Cross' has it's official release day today btw! Me and my owner are still waiting for our copy to arrive at our local bookstore, but be sure to check your local bookstore to see if they got the book!
And Carolyn: congrats on the release!

And lastly a picture of clouds and buildings to post something besides mail :-p

Even More Mail!

Today we got even more cool mail! Look at this beautiful card that Eve send us.

Thank you Eve, we love it!
I can tell you that we packed up some chocolate while Schmorg wasn't looking and if we can smuggle it passed him it will be coming your way soon.

Mail!

Today we checked the mailbox at our house (the one that's being renovated) and there was mail for me!

Look, it had a pig on the back of the envelope.

It turned out to be a card from Marlowe and his Mom.
They included stickers of barn animals including the pig that was also on the back of the envelope.

And these beautiful pictures of some of my North American cousins. They look healthy and it looks like they have lots of fun.

Thanks Marlowe! I'm very happy with this great mail!

Clouds, Mushrooms and Mummies

After work we went for a walk. It was sunny, but there were also lots of clouds.

I found lots of mushrooms, but none were of the edible kind:

When I got home there was a card for me and Coco from Beanie. He'd been to the British museum and saw the mummies they have on display there. I must confess I would love to go there and see the mummies myself too some day. Thanks for the cool card Beanie!

Card and Garden Center

I got a card from Hammie today!
He's been to France and had an amazing time there. Be sure to check out his blog.

I visited a large Garden Center together with my owner and her OtherHalf today.

I really liked these plants. They have a lovely colour and they smelled very nice.

I saw these cool pig statues!

There were also lots of fish at the Garden Center, they were beautiful, but really expensive I thought.

And look: I found a really large teacup!

At first I had trouble to get out of it again, but luckily I finally managed to get standing and get out of there.

A Card and a Book

We got our first mail at the temporary house: This flowery card was send to us to wish us a good stay here.

And in all the stress of packing I forgot to show you this: A Steampunk book I won over at vvB32 Reads. The book is about an automaton called Mattie. I read the first couple of chapters and sofar I think it's very intriguing.

And look! It's signed.
Thanks vvB32 and Ekaterina.

We're slowly getting there.

A fun postcard I found when packing.

And the livingroom of our temporary house is slowly starting to look like a livingroom.

Lots of Cool Mail!

Yesterday there was lots of mail for me and my owner!

We got this lovely card and beautiful flower picture from Marlowe and his Mom. Thanks Marlowe, we love it!

There was a book I won at vvB32 Reads' Werewolf Weekend.
vvB32: I started reading it right away and it's a great read sofar! Thanks.

And last, but certainly not least there was a really cool package from Eve! There's pig shaped soap, pig shaped erasers, candy, beautiful cards, bookmarks, a small book and more!

I really love these: Artist Trading Cards that Eve made herself. The middle one is my favourite.

Schmorg really liked this card with a sentiment about chocolate on it. He hopes that if he shows it to us long enough we'll get the hint and buy him chocolate.

There also was a lovely Alice in Wonderland shirt for my owner! She tried it on immediately, but wouldn't pose for a picture, but I can tell it looks good on her.

The little book is about Mr. Mischief and it got very cool drawings. My owner tells me she used to read Mr. books as a kid, so is very glad to own one of the Mr. books now.

Thanks Eve, it's a lovely package!
