and here is my little card... I made this for Nicole's Husband as she is still in hospital and it's his birthday tomorrow.  She asked for a parrot, so I turned this fab cockatoo from The Paper Shelter into one...

Warm in the Winter

Can you believe it's November already? Anyhow it's time for another challenge at Crafting For All Seasons and this week we have two sponsors, The Paper Shelter and Meljen Designs.  The Theme this fortnight is "TEXTURE". Here is my paper shelter card....



I've added some texture in a few ways... Tearing the paper, Flower-soft on the bobble hat, Glitter on the snow, the seam binding ruffled.  I didn't want to use the traditional embossing folders even though I love them.

I'll be back to show the the Meljens one later.....
