Especially For You

Morning... Very quick card for you today using one of the floral stamps from Clearly Besotted.  I did actually make this card last year but had not been able to share it with you.

I stamped and heat embossed in white the image from the On Your Day set from CBS and then coloured it in using distress oxides.  I then fussy cut it out. I embossed a piece of vellum with the linen plate from Papertrey Ink and mounted that onto a card blank made from Soft Sky Card stock from Stampin Up. Its edges with a piece of white 3mm ribbon and the image added over the top and trimmed where it went over the edge of the blank.
The card is finished off with a sentiment from the Message Me stamp set stamped and white heat embossed on black card stock.

A Little Note

Hey Y'all.... I'm back with a little card for you today using one of my favourite sets from last summers Clearly Besotted release - Just For You

I stamped and heat embossed the floral image from the set on a piece of neenah solar white and then using picked raspberry and peeled paint distress oxides colouring in the image.

I added a sentiment from the same set and then a doodle around the panel before mounting it on Old Olive card stock from Stampin up.

I'm off on a little holiday to Italy this week for some R&R and sight seeing but I will have a some scheduled posts done for next week.

Bon Voyage

Morning... So one of my friends is off to travel and scuba dive for a few months as a sabbatical from work so I just had to make a little card.  The manatee from Clearly Besotted was perfect!

I coloured in one of the Manatee from the Manatee Madness set from CBS with copic markers and then fussy cut around the image.
I then embossed a piece of Soft Sky card stock from Stampin up with the Seaside Embossing folder from Stampin up and added a little colour using a matching copic to some of the waves before trimming a section of it out to create a band across the card.
The sentiment  from Tiny Type from CBS is then added on a strip of card over the waves and the little manatee added on foam tape to finish it off.

It's a long weekend in the UK with the May day holiday on Monday so I'm looking forward to a great weekend of music and friends.

Happy Birthday

Afternoon... sorry I am a little later today.  Life is a little crazy at the moment and I have not had chance to type up any posts the last couple of days!

I think I have become a little obsessed with Distress Oxide inks and this one is another using a stamp block squishing technique and some splattering....

I have spent the last couple of days preparing the Order of Service for my Grandmas funeral next week.... Only 50 made with embossed flowers although I still need to colour them in.  It seemed like a great idea at the time, but my Grandma loved my handmade cards so I just had to do it!

40th Birthday

Morning, I have a card today using some of the new CBS stamps from the august release. This flower set has to be one of my favourites!

I stamped the flowers with versa-mark and then white embossed,  then painted with the distress oxides... love the effect!

Wishing You A Lifetime Of Happiness

Morning, Today's card is using some of the recent release dies from Apple Blossom from Craft Stash - this one is the Birdcage!

I embossed a piece of card in pewter and then cut out the die from this.  the heart was then cut out of a piece of red and loads of glitter added. Finished off by hanging it from a CBS branch die!

Mr & Mrs

Morning.. So finally managed a little crafting this year.. Been a busy week and even though I had two weeks off over the holiday season I did zero crafting... I had other things to concentrate on and didn't force myself to craft.  I'm hoping 2016 sees my mojo come back in full force (although with how many mistakes I made on this card I'm not sure).

I thought I would start off the year with Less Is More and it's one layer week... I can't remember the last time I made a one layer card that is for sure!!. The theme is flourishes so as I go through the mass of unused stash I decided to use some CBS... this one is Magnolia Blooms... Love these flourish leaves!!

I have a load of DT cards to make today to get ahead... nothing like a bit of pressure! But hey, it's raining, again, so I can justify not leaving the loft I think!

I'd Pick You.. CBS Teasers Day 3

Morning... I have another CBS teaser for you today using the fabulous Best Teacher set! I thought this would make a great Tag for the teacher gifts for the end of the summer term

The dies and stamps work fabulous on the MISTI, you can cut out the die then line up the stamp perfectly.

Morning... It's finally release day at Clearly Besotted and I have one last teaser for you today... It's been a pleasure to be able to share my creations with you this month and I hope you are looking forward to 10pm tonight!

Today I have used the "On Your Day" stamps and matching dies... and I seem to have a thing for spotty paper this week too!!

I think this set is a favourite this month, and the flower is also perfect for last minute Mother's day cards too!

Inky Engagement..

Morning, it's not often I get inky but I wanted to do a different background for these beautiful graphic stamps from this months CBS release. For this card I have used the Mr & Mrs set!

Fabulous purple distress ink works well with the while embossing and I have added a little bit of stitching and bling as well!

I have used the sketch from this weeks CASe This Sketch as Inspiration #112

Hopefully this will post, blogger is playing up at the moment so we can only hope!

Spring Daffs

Morning, see told you I would be back.... I have another teaser for you today using the stunning daffodil from the "Just Darling" set... simply white heat embossed onto vellum and added a touch of colour from behind using copics!

I realised I completely forgot to add the sentiment tag before I took the photos, oh well... been one of those months already!

Grateful For You!

Morning.. It's day 2 of teasers at Clearly Besotted and today I have a really quick card using the "Flower Blocks" set... I have made a tiny card using stitched dies to make the base.

I simply stamped onto crumbcake card stock the solid flower block with shadow ink, used the matching die to cut it out and then smothered it in wink of stella... Simples..

Not sure where the weekend went, didn't really get as much done as planned and crazy work week ahead... I'll see you tomorrow for more teasers...

Sunburst... CBS Teasers Day 1

Morning.. remember me?  Sorry I had to take a little hiatus due to work commitments and the fact I wasn't in the country to craft at all :-(  I need to find something I can take with me easily on my travels!..  My plan for today is to spend the whole day crafting of some description, so in the next couple of weeks I'll have something different to show you!

Anyhow, onto today... I'm am honoured to again be designing for Clearly Besotted again this month and the release this month is fabulous as always.. Here is today's card using the "Sunburst" set with one of the older word dies....

Simple Silhouettes

Morning, It's day 3 of clearly besotted teasers and today I'm using Simple Silhouettes... I love this set .. so hard to pick a favourite this month for sure! I kept it really simple, stamping on a water colour paper card base and using distress inks!

I am sorry about the terrible photos this week.. can't wait for the evenings to get a bit lighter to make it easier!

I'm on my way from Frankfurt too Zurich today for a couple of days in Switzerland for meetings .. Crazy week!

Friends Forever!

Morning, It's teaser time again at Clearly Besotted and its a gorgeous set perfect for those water colours today! I got the distress inks out for this one! This set is Friends Forever... I just know it will be a sell out!!!

I kept the colours simple and added a little washi tape to add the panel to the card....  For some reason when I'm travelling I cannot get onto the inlinkz to add the items used.. I'll be playing catch up at weekend for sure!

Sketched Blooms.. CBS Teaser!

Morning... I'm joining the CBS DT again this month for the Feb release :-) and I have a little card to share with you today using one of the new sets! Sketched Blooms!

The Happy Mothers day is from an old Stampin Up set from 2014, but I thought it went perfectly.. Make sure you join me tomorrow for more teasers!

I simply white embossed the image onto coloured card and then used the matching dies to cut them out.. Simples :-)
