DIY Tag Border Tutorial

Connie Mercer
Connie shares quick and easy instructions for creating the tag border on her layout above. A great project to use up all those left over holiday tags.

1. Select 5 tags, 1 envelope and 1 mustache tag.  Ink around the edges if you like.

2. Use a hole punch to punch a small hole in the flap of the envelope.

3. Adhere a small piece of black cardstock behind the mustache tag.
4. Tie the orange twine on the tags and arrange them to your liking.

5. Adhere the tags to the page and add  decorative trim to the top of the banner/border.

Other Supplies:
Authentique/pattern paper
Bazzill/cardstock
October Afternoon/stickers
Graphic45/black trim
Queen & Co./yellow pearls

Connie shares a pair of lovely tags that are full of new release products including our lamp post glitter die cuts and our red ticking jumbo tags.  The ticking tags showcase a classic red striped pattern fabric on one side and sturdy easy to embellish white cardstock  backing on the reverse. Our baker's twine in red and white or black and white makes tying these tags to any parcel sweet and easy.

Other supplies:
Lawn Fawn paper
Lawn fawn Flair
holly leaves
Basic Grey word stickers
Tim Holtz ink for shading
