You know the expression "April Showers bring May flowers," here in Georgia we are have been getting loads of rain - we are even under a flood watch today and tomorrow. So I hope this means when it stops we will be surrounding in beautiful Spring blossoms.

Though I dislike the awful weather, I do love this time of year as many of my customers are preparing for weddings and other special occasions. It is the season for our fabric flowers. Jenifer shares with us today a quick and easy way to incorporate them in your hair. These headbands would be lovely for new baby photos, flower girls, and big birthday bashes. Our fancy blooms use no glue so sewing them on as embellishments is easy peasy.

Here are her easy 1-2-3 instructions:

1. Pick your elastic - it comes in tons of colors now a days
2. Measure your wearers head, cut elastic and tie a know 1" from the ends.
3. Sew on a Curtsey Boutique fabric flower with a few hand stitches.

The detail and care Connie put into these tags is simply delightful. I love how she stamped the cursive wording on top of the fabric. These red and ecru ticking tags are fabric permanently adhered to cardstock so using them in crafting projects is simple and offers endless possibilities.

She hung our rustic vintage inspired keys by a jump ring from the tag and used our glitter deer and brown seam binding to top off her lovely pieces.

Framed Christmas Decor with Andrea Amu

Framed Christmas Decor
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Andrea Amu

Andrea shares a very quick and easy project she likes to do for the holidays. She finds an easel frame and removes the glass. She than inserts a piece of 5 x 5 cardstock to fit into it.

The frame can be embellished to fit any holiday. Andrea simply changes out the embellished cardstock from one holiday to the next!  Since the glass is removed you can have fun layering embellishments and make things look more three dimensional.

For this Christmas framed décor scene Andrea used all Curtsey Boutique notions, including a glittered star and reindeer, a burlap tree, a book page star and fabric die-cut letters.

Andrea also shows a sneak peek of our fabric letters which are cardstock fused to fabric and will be available soon in the shop.

Fairy Fun Halloween Layout with Lisa Spiegel

Fairy Fun Halloween Layout
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Lisa Spiegel

Lisa shares a spectacular Halloween layout today that is nto the least bit spooky. She hid the journaling about her daughter's fairy costume on the tag she tucked in the first spiderweb embossed envelope.

She really loved how these envelopes fit wallet sized photos perfectly as little photo mats and that they were super easy to tuck the journaling inside!

Also did you notice our new product sneak peek?

Aren't these fabric numbers fun - fabric on one side for texture and beautiful color, cardstock on the other for ease of use. Keep an eye out for them to be making an appearance in the shop soon.
