Hot Beverage Bar with Strawberry Baskets by Connie Mercer

Winter Hot Beverage Bar with Strawberry Baskets
Curtsey Boutique Desginer
Connie Mercer
Cold weather is upon us here in Georgia and Connie's idea for a hot drink bar using our strawberry baskets is brilliant. She added our baskets to an enamel tray and then organized her biscotti, sugar and creamer on a sweet enamel tray.

We aren't coffee drinkers in our home, but I think I might do the same with hot chocolate packets, extra marshmallows, and candy cane stir sticks.

She topped her lovely collection off with a chalkboard tag embellished with our burlap butterflies, rolled felt roses, and heart stick pins.

Cherish Layout with Kat Benjamin

Sometimes, a few choice embellishments are all you need.  In this layout, Kat Benjamin uses simple layers masterfully to frame a fantastic photo.  One of our favorite elements is the inclusion of the chalkboard tag, which really balances and draws attention to the bold title work.

Kat used these embellishments from our shop:
Glitter Butterflies

Assortment of shipping tags

Heart Straight Pins

Hand-dyed Doilies

Glassine Card and Envelope Set by Andrea Amu

Card and Glassine Envelope
Curtsey Boutique Designer
Andrea Amu
This week I created a "Congrats and Best Wishes" card and envelope using the Curtsey Boutique glassine bags, kraft masking tape, gray fabric shabby chic butterfly embellishment and chalkboard heart.

I embossed the glassine bag with an Anna Griffin embossing folder in my Cuttlebug machine. I also embossed the kraft masking tape used in the middle of the torn cardstock strips.

I rubbed some Pewter Distress Stain over the embossing on the masking tape to make it look like faux embossed metal strips.  I then used a white get pen to write my sentiment on the chalkboard heart embellishment.
