Review: 10 out of 10 - Book #2 Miley the Monkey Series - Merlot G. Hopkins - March 2021 Going through my review list, sometimes I want a quick read. Something to hit the spot and also wanting to clear my devices. So, a picture book it was. Going in blind, I didn't know what Miley the Monkey was up to and assumed it might have been a counting book with the subtitle of 10 out of 10. This book is a cute baking story featuring Miley and his sibling and their grandmother. As we can see Miley is a bit of a cheeky hyperactive monkey and the other sibling a bit more reserved, but Miley still wants to help. The story has them baking banana (of course) cupcakes and going through the ingredients together and the final product is cupcakes rated 10 out of 10.  This book also includes the full recipe for Banana cupcakes at the back of the book, so they can be made after reading the story. Review: Spies, Lies and Cupcakes - Book #1 Rebels and Misfits Series - Jessica Sorensen - May 2020 I have to admit, I do love Jessica Sorensen as an author but at the same time, she frustrates the hell out of me as in the last 5+ years. The majority of her series are left incomplete and/or they are constantly having name changes and it's like have I read this or not? Years ago, when New Adult was just starting Jessica Sorensen was one of the first authors I read and I loved her writing style and fell in love with her books. This book has had a few name changes and has been called Reinventing My Heart and is now known as Confessions of Luna. We meet Luna whose parents are religious and super-strict, they are also old enough to be her grandparents and there were parts in the story that has me wondering whether they are and the Aunt that they keep warning her about is her mother (none of this is talked about though, so just speculation). Review: Crashing into Love - Book #12 Written in the Stars Series - Hollis Wynn - December 2020 Sutton Sterling works a lot and hasn't found her Mr. Right, she has someone she wants but since she works for her Dad's company and he has a no staff fraternization policy, it means he is off-limits.
