Drenched Painted Harvest Flowers

Hi! I can't put these SU stamps down! Here's another card, colours inspired by the current MFT challenge, although after spritzing with so much water, it's hard to see the pink, and some of the orange has become yellow. I love how the colours have spread, though! I used oxides, which has made the flowers look even softer :)

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Reindeer Baubles

Hi! Here are a couple of cards I made using Distress Oxides for the background. I am so addicted to oxides now, I think I need to buy some more colours! I have 14 so far, which seems a lot, but urggg... I just want them all!

The first card has a liberal spray of Glimmer Mist on the background, but I left the second one as it was. I layered the bauble die cut over the background, adding a bit or torn card under the reindeer's feet, for a snowy bank. I used 3D squares to fix the bauble to the card, and added a bow to the top. The bows took me ages! I am so rubbish at tying bows, damn faffy things. I might have to get one of those bow maker things.

Anyway, here are the cards:

A bit late, but...

Hiya! Here are 3 Mother's Day cards. At least I'm all set for next year...

I made this first one using a digi stamp from Lizzie Love. I coloured with inks and a water brush, drew the flower stems and stamped the leaves. I 3D-ed one of the flowers to give a bit of dimension, punched tiny flowers for the centres and added a gem.

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

I made this next one by clear embossing the flowers, and colouring with Brushos and inks. I went a bit crazy with some Glimmer Mist over the top of it, so it is quite shiny and hard to take a photo of! I added gems to the centres of the flowers.

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Little Tangles: 'Watercolour'
Crafty Calendar: 'April Showers or Spring'
Addicted to Stamps: 'Make Your Mark'

I make this last one with a stamp from Lavinia, stamping in oranges and yellows and with gold embossing. I used ink dusters to colour the background.

Dragonfly Dreams: 'Anything Goes'
Crafts Galore: 'Anything Goes'
Corrosive Challenges: 'Anything Goes'

Hi! Here's a birthday card I made for a lovely friend who keeps chickens. This chick image is the closest I have to a chicken, so I hope she'll like it. The image is a digistamp, and I added the sentiment. I coloured using inks and a water brush, then added gems to the flowers.

70th Birthday Card

Hi! My Mum-in-law turned 70 today! She loves fairies, so I made her this card. She's not overly happy about being 70 though, so I didn't put that on the card!

I used ink dusters to create the background, masking with torn paper for the hills. The stamps are all from Lavinia. I coloured the wings and blossom with promarkers, and used Clear Star gel pen to make the wings iridescent. I added glamour dust to the wing tips, flowers and dandelions, for some extra sparkle.

New Lavinia Stamps

Hi! I bought two new stamps at the NEC Hobbycrafts show in March, and this is the first card I made with them. I coloured the background with ink dusters on watercolour paper, and then spritzed with water to blend it a little. I coloured the flowers with promarkers, and used a Gelly Roll 'clear star' pen on her wings to make them shimmer.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Color Throwdown:

Dragonfly Dreams: "Spring is in the Air"

Uniko: "Use Metallics" - the wings look metallic, so I hope that is ok for the challenge!
