New job

It's week 2 at Cupcake Inspirations. We are having an "Anything Goes" challenge. Always a fan favorite and you guys have been up to the challenge. So many of you have joined the fun. There is still time to enter!

My card today was another card that I made for my boss, who resigned for a big promotion at a different health system. I was happy for him, but sad to see him leave.

This card might look complicated, but it really wasn't. I stamped a bunch of shamrocks all over a piece of card stock and colored them with copic markers. I then just die cut the word job. The rest is pretty self explanatory.

You all have one more week to decorate those naked cupcakes and show us your creations at Cupcake Inspirations.

Irish luck

We have been having a touch of spring in our weather. Temps have climbed into the 50s and we might see 64 next week. Spring is peeking around the corner.

Which quite coincidentally is the new challenge at CAS on Friday:

SPRING

Today's card features something old and something new. I fell in love with this adorable stamp set from Colorado Craft Company- a new company to me. That wee mouse holding a four leaf clover is just so dang cute! The sentiments and shamrocks are from Paper Tray Ink's Irish Blessings. Which is on sale for only $6.00!!!!

You have to weeks to get a spring in your step and spring on your cards!! Be sure to share your springy cards with us at CAS on Friday!!

Lucky leaf

Oh lucky day, I did finally start my homework (see this post) and I completed what I wanted to, but tomorrow I really have to spend the day putting together my presentation. So I went through what was out there in challenge land. CAS(E) this sketch had a fun sketch to inspire.

Instead of seeing a heart in the sketch I saw shamrocks. After all St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner. St. Patrick's Day stamps are hard to come by, but I have gathered a nice little collection over the years. Surprisingly, some of my most loved ones are those $1.00 stamps in the junk bins at the major craft stores.

The St. Patrick's Day washi tape was a HUGE find. I knew I had to use it on my card.

My new boss is Irish and this card will be heading his way on St. Pat's Day. Check out what the DT at CAS(E) this sketch have come up with and play along too.

Love and Luck!

WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! World Civ is over. A break from the papers for a while!! Boy, did
this class cut into my stamping time. Now I just have to get through Christian Ethics and my Pysch CLEP test. You all are probably tired of me whining huh? All I can say is, you all are good listeners!

Today at Just Us Girls, Vicki has a sketch for us. Sketches are perfect for me since I take things so literally. I just copy the sketch exactly.  My fav color is green, so St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite days. All green all day!!! Since I was able to put my Valentine's behind me, I was able to pull out all my shamrocks!!

Please join us at Just Us Girls for this awesome sketch challenge!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

I got very behind this year with my St. Patrick's Day cards and had to make 15 in one day. So I cranked out these guys. I love this blueprint for cards. I suppose I could do Easter with a collage of eggs!

Anyway- I took me about an hour to make 15 of these. So I was able to get them in the mail in a timely fashion.

Hope all of you are having a lucky day!
