Congrats!!

Happy Memorial Day! Yipee!! It's the official start to the summer!!  But it is also the official graduation season. This year, my great niece is graduating from high school.

That is why the new challenge at Cupcake Inspirations was perfect. I can honestly say, I never have graduation cards in my stash.

My card today uses really old stamps and even a wooden stamp- yep going old school with this card. So I am challenging you to pull out some old stamp sets that could use some inky love for your creation.

You have two weeks to play along with us at Cupcake Inspirations "graduation" challenge!

The sky's the limit

This is the time year where graduations abound. My BFF told me she was going to her granddaughter's graduation from preschool. Preschool!!!! I then found out there are graduations not only from preschool but kindergarten, elementary school, middle school. Geez, you can tell I don't have kids! 😀 Well if all these graduations are going on, you are going to need a bunch of congrats cards. I figured I better get a stock in.

CAS(E) this Sketch and Addicted to CAS both had a challenged that when I saw it, I knew exactly what I was going to do. Sometimes it happens like that. You just grab your stamps and 20 minutes later you have your creation done.

Die cuts seem to be a buzz word this week. Both The Male Room and Just Us Girls are looking for us to use them in our work.

I used Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies. I sponged the blue sky background and added the clouds and hot air balloon, all colored with copics.  Die cut them. (what would we do without dies?!!) The sentiment and gems were added and voila- the card was done.

These are some really fun challenges. Click on my links and play along too.

WOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I want to thank the academy- scratch that I mean, I want to thank all of you who have put up with my whining and nonstop chatter about my Psych CLEP test. All the good wishes, thoughts and prayers paid off.

I PASSED!!!!

The test was really really hard and I have been studying like crazy, but there were things on this test I never saw in all my reading. When i finished and the score was computed I had a 71. I wasn't sure if that was passing or not until I went to collect my papers. The proctor told me that not only did I passed, but I passed very well. I had a 71 out of 80!!!!

So this means come May 18th I can add a BSN after my name- Sue Trembeth RN BSN. Sounds great huh?

Thanks again to all of you!
