First Baju Melayu Ayser Zarif

Last 2 weeks was my cousin's wedding reception. So, i decided to buy a 'baju melayu' for Ayser Zarif. I bought online from Manjaku Happy.

At first, i chose this design but out of stock already. So, i have to change to other design.

Then, I checked this design...also out of stock.

Finally, decided for this design. It's super cute! My mom said my baby looked like a girl cos the design is so girly. For me it's still unisex design and i love it!

I plan to buy more from this website. The quality is very good! I'm happy with the product.

Wedding Kiki & My 27 Weeks Pregnancy

Congratulations Datin Kiki!

We went to her wedding last Saturday and met my ex-classmates and ex-schoolmates. It was fun! But we cannot stay there for too long as there were lotsa guests attended the ceremony and we need to give the seats to them.

Anyway, we managed to take some pictures before we go off.

Ok, on my pregnancy plak....Now i'm entering THIRD Trimester! There are lotsa challenges now i've had to face.

This is it — you're two-thirds to the finish line at 28 weeks pregnant, as you enter the third trimester! And what a difference a trimester makes. Gone, most likely, are the days when you could call pregnancy "comfortable" (that is, if you ever did). These days, your baby's kicking (or lack of) is keeping you up at night and worried during the day, your feet are swollen, you're getting tired all over again, and your backache is a pain that just won't quit. And even though he or she hasn't started crying yet, it may seem that your baby's getting on your nerves already — literally. As your baby gets settled into a proper (you hope) position for birth, his or her head (and your enlarging uterus) may rest on the sciatic nerve in the lower part of your spine. And if that happens, you may feel sharp, shooting pain, tingling, or numbness that starts in your buttocks and radiates down the back of your legs — otherwise known as sciatica. The pain of sciatica can be quite intense at times, and though it may pass if your baby shifts positions, it can also linger until you've delivered.
A heating pad, a warm tub, stretches, or just some self-imposed bed rest can help with the discomfort. So can some complementary and alternative therapies.
About my baby, he's actively inside me! Super duper active! Alhamdulillah...
Are you dreaming about your baby? At 28 weeks pregnant, your baby may be dreaming about you, too. Brain wave activity measured in a developing fetus shows different sleep cycles, including the rapid eye movement phase, the stage when dreaming occurs.
By now, your baby, who weighs in at about two and a half pounds and stands — or rather lies — at almost 16 inches (measured head to toe) has added blinking to his or her growing bag of tricks. (Outside in the real world, blinking is necessary to help keep foreign objects out of the eyes.) Other impressive new talents being added to your baby's roster in the womb include coughing, more intense sucking, and, perhaps most important, better breathing. Of course, it's still best if a baby doesn't check out of that uterine hotel just yet — there's still a lot of growing and maturing to do over the next 12 weeks.

I hope i could cope with all of the challenges. Ya Allah, please help me....

Our Balik Kampung Trip to Kuala Berang

Ready to leave for Kuala Berang

Last weekend both of us together with my family went to Kuala Berang, Terengganu. Kira balik kampung la after 4 years. Honestly i can't remember how to get there and that shows how long it was.

Cruising at LPT, 140 -160kmph

The journey was relaxing at first with minor traffic jams caused by an accident. After exiting the Pantai Timur Hway at Jabor we took the trunk road to Kuala Berang, one of two ways going there. The road was so damaged with pot holes everywhere. There were at least 2-3 holes in a kilometre. The tiredness was not from the driving but the concerntration you had to put on the driving, avoiding the holes. I'm not sure whether the damages were there all this while or were caused by the recent flooding. Talking about that, we were lucky the flooding has recovered the day before and there were no sign of it except a minor landslide.

Gotong-royong Korban

We rented rooms at Kuala Berang since the kampung house can't possibly accomodate 10 people at one go. We attended the korban ceremony and were re-introduced to the family members since we have not met for a long time. I even found out that i have nephews and nieces about the same age as me. hahaha. The korban was done in a gotong-royong manner. There were makcik everywhere instructing the youngsters on the cooking. Most of the time we only nod when they talk to us, their acsent were too hard to pick up. We managed to get ourselves 'daging pacak', a delicacy among our family. It's actually meat covered with 'kunyit' and bbq-ed on top of the fire pit until cooked, eat while hot.

Wedding

There was a wedding ceremony on the same day of the korban.

Aishah posed for the camera

Tasik Kenyir

On the last day, we went to Tasik Kenyir to take some photos. We were dissapointed because of the not-well-kept environment as well as improper maintenance from the local authorities.

Last minutes changes, my dad decided to stay one more night at Kuala Berang leaving both Aishah and I no choice but to drive back to KL ourself. Since we were not in convoys anymore, we have all the time to ourself. Both of us decided to visit the Taman Tamadun Islam in Kuala Terengganu before leaving.

Taman Tamadun Islam

The achitectural designs are amazing, but say to say the facilities were not well kept. As the saying Malaysia has all the 1st world facilities but 3rd world maintenance. It true, we can see them everywhere.

Passports/Tickets

We even got passport as 'we are visiting and travelling around the world to visit monument and mosque'.

Our journey route

On the way back, we were caught in a massive traffic crawl at Kemaman. For a 10 kilometre stretch, it took us 2 hours. What a headache. The best part, there were no accident or flood, just a damaged bridge. It took us 11 hours to reach home from Kuala Terengganu. One of the most tiring journey i ever had.

We had fun tough, and might consider going there again sometime in the future.

Nafis's Wedding Reception

This was the agenda that I mentioned in the previous entry. But, before that, hubby and I had to go to KLIA to say goodbye to my family as they're going to Turkey for holidays....unfair to me!!!! I can't go because the tour package was full..that was the reason my mom gave to me ok!

Anyway, we have to be at the airport by 9.00 am but as usual we arrived 15 minutes after nine and met them only for a short while. They have to proceed to the waiting area as their flight has been scheduled to take off at 10.40am. After saying goodbye, we walked around KLIA and took some pictures.

FYI, I've already wore 'baju kurung' because we didn't want to go back home(Jom Heboh chaos!) u know...So, we went to my PIL house.

*Takde keje...cari keje...*

Unfortunately, they were also planning to go out for a few weddings too but managed to meet them for a while. We stayed there until noon. I managed to take a nap for 45 minutes as yesterday I didn't get enough sleep and had to get up early.

We arrived at the wedding hall around 1.00pm. Cipong and Sob also arrived at about the same time. By the time, the bride and the groom were already on the 'pelamin'. So, we take a seat at one table together and had our lunch. We stayed there for quite a while as we had to wait for my other ex-classmates to arrive. They were about an hour late.

FYI, Nafis was the second person in class 509 (MRSM Taiping) who got married. I was the first one who broke the record ok! Others....I don't know when and who are next...Maybe Sob or maybe Odi??hahahaha....

*The King & Queen of the Day!!!*

Then, we took pictures together with the bride and the groom. And guess who was there too?? It's Ustazah Mona!!! haha...We had long chit chatting, laughing etc etc....

Me..My fat hubby..~~and the newly wed couple..
MRSM Taiping ex-students..
Ustazah Mona and I..

To Nafis & Raha,
Congratulations on your wedding!!!!
May both of you have blissful life together and forever!!! Insyaallah
